Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1343

"There's no need. Half a day is enough." Mia was very career-oriented, and she didn't want to let Helen's appreciation go to waste.

"Just do as you see fit." It would have been too much if Helen had continued to persuade, so she quickly hung up the phone.

In the afternoon, Mia took a cab to Tyrone's studio. She knocked on the door of the office, and then Tyrone's voice rang out from inside. "Come in."

Mia pushed the door open and saw Tyrone playing games on the sofa. He instinctively put away his phone when he saw her. "What brings you here?"

As he said, he got up to open the fridge and asked, "What do you want to drink? Juice or mineral water? Or maybe some dessert? Mr. Zott brought too much today."

"No, thanks." Mia acted very politely as she walked in, standing awkwardly at a distance.

Tyrone instantly sensed that something was off, so he asked seriously, "You came to me for something?"

"Yes." Mia nodded solemnly.

Tyrone closed the fridge and walked over to the sofa to sit down, gesturing to her not to be so restrained. "Sit."

"Thank you, Mr. Tyrone." Mia walked over to the loveseat at the side to sit down.

Although Tyrone was reluctant to admit it, he soon saw through Mia's intention. "You came to plead for Scott?"

This way, he could ensure that Mia would be spared from as much pain as possible.

"What did Scott say?" Tyrone asked.

"He… hasn't been in a good state lately. I couldn't get anything out of him, so I thought of seeking help from you." Mia was reluctant to speak ill of Scott in front of outsiders.

"I believe we are friends, and friends should be honest with each other, right?"

Friends. What a depressing word. Tyrone's heart instantly sank, feeling extremely upset.
