"Ever since we broke up, I've been quite unlucky in terms of my romantic life. All the men I met have been jerks!" said a frustrated Samantha as she ran her hands through her hair.
Hera was torn between laughing at and sympathizing with Samantha. "Unlucky? How so? Tell me about it."
"The men I met were all so materialistic. They were only after my money. When they were with me, it showed on their faces that they wanted a sugar mommy."
"You're the one to blame for being such a spendthrift. I told you to get rid of your habit of paying the bill for everyone. I just can't stop myself! Besides, who knows who the money will go to after I die if I don't spend it all!" Samantha complained.
Her mother was a famous dancer who was known worldwide, while her father was a member of the royal family in Elvermark, who was also a well-known film director.
After Samantha's mother retired, she founded several companies out of boredom and earned quite a fortune. The money she earned was enough for her to live a carefree life for generations to come.
Actors and actresses were forced to leave the entertainment industry if they couldn't act well. Samantha, on the other hand, would have a throne to inherit if she ever left the entertainment industry.
Hera couldn't do anything about Samantha's spendthrift behavior and could only say, "Whatever. You're filthy rich anyway."
Samantha continued ranting, "Let me tell you just how ridiculous my last ex was! Before he became my boyfriend, he told me that he wasn't after my money. But when we got together, he loved dressing up even more than I did."
She huffed and ranted, "He said he wanted to become an influencer so that he could earn more money and support me in the future. I was touched by how hardworking he was, so I bought him all the makeup, clothes, and accessories he wanted. All of them were branded and limited-edition items!
"You know how much I love spending money. I bought him whatever he liked. I was supporting him in his career, after all."
Hera sipped her drink as she quietly listened to Samantha.
"Don't shift the topic. Don't you want to know what happened next?"
"What happened?"
"I thought he'd be touched after everything I did. It wasn't like I wanted him to buy me a diamond or any sort of expensive gift. He could've at least given me a good time in bed on my birthday, you know."
Hera was curious now. "So, you broke up with him because he couldn't satisfy you in bed? Was his manhood too short? Or did the whole thing end too quickly?"
"No." Samantha shook her head exaggeratedly. "It didn't even rise!"
"It didn't?" Hera burst out laughing.
