Hera and Nicholas wanted to discuss the renovation of the clinic after lunch, so Gino brought the twins to the playground in the shopping mall beside the coffee shop.
Hera, Isla, Sarah, and Nicholas all stayed at the coffee shop. Before the renovation started, they'd have to change the location of the clinic temporarily.
However, the current location of the clinic was way too secluded. The building they were using for the clinic right now wasn't very big either, so it wasn't that suitable for its intended purpose.
"Isla, Sarah, you two can head back first. Help me pick a building that's more suitable to be turned into a clinic," Hera said. "Pick one that's larger than our current one."
"Consider it done," Isla said. Then, she and Sarah got up and left.
Now, Hera and Nicholas were the only ones left in the private room of the coffee shop.
Nicholas had a habit of passing his tongue over his lips when he started getting thrilled. Licking his lips, he said, "We still haven't found a new spot for the clinic, so why don't we talk about something else?"
"Can you take me to the place where I first opened the clinic?" Hera asked.
Gino, Isla, and Sarah would never agree to it, so Hera could only ask Nicholas for help.
Nicholas was stunned because he didn't expect her to make such a request. Out of the blue, he felt a little upset.
Bernard, that bastard, couldn't even protect Hera from harm. He tried erasing every piece of information about her and demanded that no one should even bring her up.
After all that, Hera still wanted to see him!
Nicholas was aware that he wasn't as rich as Bernard. Even so, he was sure that he could treat Hera way better than Bernard!
Sensing Nicholas' silence, Hera lifted an eyebrow as if she were challenging him. "What is it? You don't dare to get on that man's bad side?"
Based on her conversation with Gino, Hera presumed that the scumbag of a man had quite the influence and power over others. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to keep all the information about her hidden.
Her words were like a slap to Nicholas' face. He smacked the table with one hand as he shot up from his chair.
"Are you kidding me?" he huffed, his face full of displeasure. "Let's go. I'll take you there right away."
The corners of Hera's lips curled into a smile as she got up from her seat and followed him out of the private room.
