Chapter 259
Sana looked conflicted.
“Just say it if you have something on your mind,” Jessica snapped.
She didn’t know why she was so irritable today, and frankly, she didn’t care to change it.
“It’s not a big deal, but I think I saw her today. Jessi, are you positive she’s abroad?” Sana asked cautiously.
“You saw her? Where?” Jessica’s tone turned frosty.
She wondered, ‘Could Madeline really still be here?‘
Sana decided to be upfront.
She said, “At Wesley’s clinic. The reason I left the office this morning was that he called me. He said a wornan came to his office after you, trying to snoop into your condition.

torn.
“You’re still so young. What do you need a tutor for? Kids should be outside playing, not stuck inside studying all day,” Dereck protested.
“Your grandpa’s right. You’ve got three months until school starts, Jake. No need to stress like this, and your grades have always been great,” Stella agreed.
Jacob shook his head. “I only did well before because Mom built a strong foundation for me. Now that she’s not here, I have to work harder. I don’t want to let her down.”
Dereck and Stella exchanged a glance, both momentarily speechless.
They thought, ‘Why is everyone in this family so stubborn?‘
“Don’t worry about me, Grandpa and Grandma. I’m almost fully recovered. I just read a little in my free time. It’s nothing serious. How are you two feeling
