Chapter 18
In the pouring rain, a figure stood motionless in the downpour, staring fixedly at the door in front.
In the study, Frank finished dealing with the last document and then moved his sore neck, looking towards the butler standing beside him.
“Was he still outside?”
The butler nodded quickly.
He sneered coldly, “Then let him keep waiting, no one is allowed to open the door.” He glanced again at the newly arrived documents on the table, “It seems he has been too idle lately, go find something for him to do.”
“Okay.” The butler closed the door and left.
In the stairwell, the new servant watched the people outside getting drenched in the rain, feeling pity in their heart.
“Such heavy rain, won’t catch a cold, right?”
The old servant on the side rolled his eyes.
Why did you feel sorry for this scumbag? He cheated on his wife, had a child with his mistress, imprisoned his wife, and
even allowed his mistress to bully his wife.
The old servant listed one by one the crimes Tristian had committed, growing more and more disgusted in his eyes.
The new servant, upon hearing this, immediately suppressed their sympathy and scoffed at the figure outside the
window.
“Let him get soaked to death!”
The butler passed by them and scolded, “What are you discussing piled up here!”
The two of them left in a hurry.
The gate opened with a bang, and the people inside slowly walked towards the figure, holding umbrellas.
Tristian’s wet eyes instantly became bright.
As soon as the butler spoke, his eyes immediately dimmed.
“Mr. Eldred, you had better give up on this idea.”
“No one from the Harford family wanted to see you, let alone disclose the whereabouts of Ms. Harford.”
“Mr. Harford said that if you were too free, you could go back to the company and take a look.”
Tristian’s eyes tightened, about to speak, when a piercing ringtone sounded from his pocket.
The butler no longer looked at him, turned around, and closed the door.
He stood still for a while, then took out his phone from his pocket and just as he answered the call. = Chapter 18
Kiana’s sharp scolding could be heard from over there.
“You scum, I will kill you!”
Then came the sound of various porcelain breaking.
Even mixed with a few angry curses from Coby and the screams of other women.
Amidst the chaos, someone picked up their phone anxiously and said, “Mr. Eldred, the company is in trouble!”
Tristian, disregarding his wet clothes, directly instructed the driver to head towards the Eldred Group.
Just as I stepped out of the president’s elevator, I saw a crowd of people gathered outside the president’s office.
“What were you doing?”
As soon as they saw him coming, everyone scattered in all directions.
Behind the half-closed door, the sound of shouting and beating continued.
As Tristian pushed open the door, a teacup smashed against his forehead and fell to the ground, shattering into pieces.
He looked up and saw Kiana glaring fiercely at the two people in front of her, constantly cursing with dirty words.
On the other side, Coby had an expressionless face and carefully protected the mistress behind him.
On the way there, the assistant briefed him on the general situation.
Originally, Coby despised Kiana for being old and losing her beauty, and on top of that, Tristian still hadn’t had any
children.
He secretly hooked up with the secretary in Tristian’s office.
After a fierce storm, the secretary became pregnant quickly.
Just as Kiana was at the hospital taking care of her grandson, she happened to see Coby coming out of the examination
room with his secretary.
Kiana thought she was seeing things, so she secretly followed them all the way.
Finally, Coby walked into the Eldred Group with his secretary.
Kiana went crazy and started fighting and biting the two people as soon as she entered the office.
Watching Tristian enter, Coby finally couldn’t maintain his dignity and forcefully pushed Kiana away.
