Chapter 125
Nena explained. “We were just curious, Mr. Moore, Please don’t take it the wrong way.”
Jackson didn’t even give her a glance.
Nena’s smile wavered. She instinctively looked toward Ryan and Zion, expecting them to jump to her defense.
To her surprise, both brothers sat quietly. Neither showed any inclination to speak on her behalf.
The realization made Xena’s stomach charm. She forced a tight smile and chose to remain silent..
Emily said. “Nena, Jason, come on. Let’s be real–Janie is so gorgeous and talented. Of course, she must have tons of admirers. I’m sure she could find someone whenever she wants.”
Janie’s eyes flicked to Emily.
Jason added with a grin. “Absolutely. Someone as stunning as Janie must’ve had her fair share of relationships. We’d all love to know–what’s your type”
Jackson almost jumped up, he was somewhat agitated, “What do you mean by that!”
Jason froze, visibly startled. “I–I didn’t mean anything by it. Just trying to ask a fun question.”
Jackson’s glare could have frozen fire. “Oh, so casually accusing someone of dating around is just your idea of ‘fun? Great logic, genius.”
David spoke up. “Jason, you’re way out of line. That’s not how you compliment someone. Try again.”
Jason’s face turned pale.
He hadn’t expected to be directly accused of fabricating rumors by Jackson and David.
“I wasn’t accusing her of anything. Jason stammered. “It was meant to be a compliment, I was just saying she’s beautiful and must get a lot of attention. That’s all ”
[Jason needs to sit down. Compliments don’t come with backhanded assumptions.]
[Jackson’s reaction is totally valid. If someone said that about my sister, I’d lose it too.]
[Ryan just wanted to praise Janie, he didn’t mean it! Top actor, please don’t bully our Ryan!)
[You were rambling in front of her brother, isn’t it natural for him to be upset?]
Emily attempted to mediate. “Jason didn’t mean any harm, I’m sure. But let’s be honest–Janie is so gorgeous, it’s hard to imagine she hasn’t been in love before.”
Jackson felt a surge of anger rises to his head.
David frowned slightly.
Janie was indeed too beautiful, but he didn’t think she had been in many relationships.
The thought that Janie might have been in a relationship made him feel a bit uncomfortable.
Meanwhile, Ryan and Zion’s thoughts took darker turns, both imagining the possibility that Janie, alone in the world, may have been forced into situations they’d rather not consider.

Chapter 125
Noah looked ready to explode. The thought of anyone assuming that Janie would date around made his blood boil, Janie was perfect with Spencer, and period.
Finally, Jackson snapped. “For the record, Janie’s never been in a relationship
Emily and Jason both gasped, their disbelief palpable.
“Wait–really?” Emily said, her tone dripping with incredulity. “She doesn’t seem like the typer
David smirk “What’s so hard to believe? Someone like Janie wouldn’t settle for just anyone. Of course, her standards are high. You two should stop assuming things”
Jason and Emily’s expressions faltered, their smiles becoming forced.
Emily turned back to Janic, her voice carefully contrite. I’m really sorry, Janie. I didn’t mean anything bad by it”
Xena chimed in brightly. “Wow. Janie, so you’ve never dated anyone either? That makes us alike–I’ve never been in a relationship either?”
[What?! She’s never dated? A queen who’s single and thriving!]
[Come on, who actually believes that? Look at Janie–there’s no way someone that stunning hasn’t been in a relationship.]
[Why not? Maybe she has high standards, doesn’t like dating, or–plot twist–doesn’t even like men. Totally valid either way.]
Jason leaned in with a sheepish smile. “You’re right, Janie. It’s just when you said ‘for now, it caught my attention. I really didn’t mean to overstep, I guess I’m not great with words.”
Sensing an opportunity for drama, the production team couldn’t help themselves. “Janie, if it’s not too personal, would You mind elaborating a little? The audience is dying to know!”
Both Jackson and David frowned deeply at the intrusion.
Noah practically vibrated with restrained rage, his eyes narrowing dangerously
Janie smiled slightly. There’s nothing I need to hide.
“I’ve never been in a relationship,” she said plainly.
Everyone’s expression varied.
Xena and Emily exchanged incredulous glances, their lips curling in faint disbelief.
David felt a surprising wave of relief wash over him.
But before anyone could react further, Janie delivered the knockout line. “However,” she continued, there is someone in my heart. Someone I’ve already decided on.”
The air in the room seemed to freeze.
Noah sprang to his feet so quickly his chair skidded back. If not for a shred of restraint, he might have screamed right then and there.
“Classic Janie, he thought. Always making the boldest moves!
Noah sat back down hastily, fumbling with his phone to text Spencer. Spencer is going to lose his mind over this one.
Meanwhile, the others glanced at Noah, their expressions confused and slightly wary.

Chapter 125
Jacksonis jaw tightened as he bit back the urge to snap
David blinked, momentarily stunned, before his heart sank Janie was gorgeous, and it was easy for anyone to fall
Of course, Janie’s words didn’t refer to him. He didn’t need to ask to know that
[It seems Jamie is establishing a single persona. So bold“]
[Did she really just drop a love confession like it’s nothing! This is huge!]
[I’m so envious? Who is that man! To make our Jamie fall in love!||
[That man better be extraordinary to have captured Jatue’s heart. I’m already jealous.]
[Or maybe your precious Janie isn’t as popular as you think. Ever consider
[LOL, don’t worry. Janie’s still more liked than you’ll ever be. Cope harder |
