Chapter 132
Chapter 132
Tina finally realized someone was behind her. When she turned and saw it was Emily, her anger and resentment flared even hotter. She merely frowned at Emily, her hostility and disdain plain to see, yet she held her tongue.
The principal, interrupted mid-sentence, studied Emily with a probing gaze. “You are?” He thought the young woman in front of him looked somewhat familiar, but with so many students coming and going every day, there was no way he could remember them all.
Emily stepped forward. “My name is Emily Harper. I used to be a student here…” Surely, she was not that memorable for the principal to remember her after all this time.
But when she said her name, she caught a flicker of recognition across his face. ‘Does he remember me that well?’
Sure enough, the principal didn’t press further about her identity. Instead, he asked guardedly, “So, what brings you here?”
Emily composed herself and turned to Tina, who had been scowling the whole time. “I’m here about Louisa’s case,
too.”
The principal’s expression darkened. “This is an internal school matter, and it’s already been settled. It’s none of your concern.” With that, he reached out to slam the door shut and shoo them away.
At the critical moment, Emily thrust the dossier into the doorway. “I don’t think you’d want these documents to go public, would you, sir?”
Emily’s veiled threat stoked the principal’s rage, yet the moment his eyes met her steely stare, his anger inexplicably fizzled out. After a moment’s hesitation, he opened the dossier. Upon seeing the contents, the principal’s face instantly blanched.
The principal snapped the folder shut and stared nervously at Emily. “How did you get your hands on this stuff?”
Emily ignored his question, fixing him with a steely gaze. “So, are you ready to discuss Louisa’s case with us now?”
The principal’s face stiffened. Gritting his teeth in reluctant surrender, he finally pushed the door open.
Tina shot Emily a startled, almost disbelieving look. She didn’t want anything to do with the person who ruined
her mom’s life.
But after two years of getting nowhere with Louisa’s case, this was the first time she’d ever managed to set foot inside the principal’s office. So, after a moment’s hesitation, Tina stepped inside.
The moment they entered, the principal quickly shut the door behind them, fixing Emily with a nervous stare. “How did you get these documents?” he asked again.
The dossier contained evidence of the principal’s years of corruption, bribery, embezzlement, and abuse of power. If these documents got out, his whole world would come crashing down.
Of course, Emily wasn’t about to tell him where she got it. She demanded, “What happened to Louisa?” Even when facing the principal, Emily showed not an ounce of respect. ‘Because a man like him doesn’t deserve an ounce of respect, she thought.

The principal’s face darkened. “Emily, it’s been two years since your plagiarism incident. Whatever happens to Louisa is none of your concern.”
