Phoebe raised an eyebrow and smiled. While cracking the eggs, she spoke slowly, “Why would I help you hide it? If Declan finds out that the person who stayed outside his hospital room for three days and nights was me, I am sure his impression of you will take a huge hit.”

Jennifer gritted her teeth and said coldly, “If you had not kicked me out back then, I would have stayed outside Deck’s hospital room.”

Phoebe glanced at her sideways. “You left just because I told you to? Looks like your love for Declan is not that deep after all.”
