Bianca clenched her teeth, resentment bubbling up as she thought about how Scott wouldn’t reconcile no matter what she did. Her eyes were full of hate. “Jennie, I can’t stand this. Since I can’t beat her, I’ll find another way to deal with her?
“What do you mean?” Jennifer asked.
Bianca gave a cold smile. “I’m going to the set this afternoon. When the crew sees my swollen face, they will definitely ask what happened. And next Friday is the official start date for The Legend. I’ll make sure to use this opportunity to make Phoebe regret what she did to me today.”
Jennifer remained silent for a moment, then spoke with concern. “Bianca, you’ve worked so hard to land this role. What if something goes wrong-”
“Don’t worry. Even if something goes wrong, I can handle it,” Bianca replied.
Jennifer didn’t say anything more, and her expression grew colder.
At three in the afternoon, Phoebe arrived at the location where she and Cora’s blind date was set.
Based on Cora’s description, Phoebe quickly spotted a man in a silver–gray suit, sitting alone by the window.
He was wearing gold–rimmed glasses, had handsome features, and had a slight smile on his lips. The moment Phoebe saw him, she felt a refreshing sense of ease.
She smiled and slowly walked out
to his side, gently tapping the table. “Hello, Mr. Hamilton?”
Kaspar Hamilton looked up, and the first thing he saw was a strikingly beautiful face.
He was taken aback for a moment, then smiled. “Hello, Ms. Wood?”
Phoebe nodded and sat down across from him.
“Would you like something to drink?” Kaspar asked.
“No, thank you. Mr. Hamilton, I came here today just to personally apologize. I’m not planning to date anyone at the moment. This blind date was arranged by my family, and I hope you understand. You can just tell them you weren’t interested in me when you go back,” Phoebe said.
Kaspar was silent for a few seconds, then shook his head. “Sorry, I don’t understand.”
Phoebe was a little surprised. “Mr. Hamilton, I thought I was being quite straightforward.”
Kaspar, calm and warm, looked at Phoebe and said slowly, “You’re not Cora.”
Phoebe was momentarily stunned.
Seeing she didn’t respond, Kaspar continued, “I saw pictures of Cora before coming here.”
Phoebe pursed her lips and quickly composed herself. “Mr. Hamilton, I’m sorry, but Cora had an important matter and couldn’t make it. She asked me to come and inform you.”
Kaspar’s smile remained unchanged. “I think the apology should come from the real Ms. Wood. When I go back, I’ll tell the matchmaker I’m interested in Ms. Wood.”

Ian didn’t expect that simply having a meal with a business partner would lead him to run into Phoebe.

He frowned as he saw the man sitting across from Phoebe.
Kaspar had only just returned, and their circles had never crossed before, so they shouldn’t have known each other.

Suddenly, lan recalled hearing that the Hamilton family had arranged a blind date for Kaspar Could Phoebe be the one? lan thought.
With that thought, he quickly called his secretary, “Check Kaspar’s schedule for this afternoon”
On her way back, Phoebe called Cora. “Cora, you might still have to meet your blind date?
“Why?” Cora asked, confused,
Phoebe explained, “He had already seen your photos before the date. I was exposed as soon as I got there.
Cora froze for a moment.
She couldn’t help but grind her teeth, suspecting that it was her mother who had given him the photos.
“I see. Thanks for doing this today. It must have been awkward when you were exposed, Cora said.
“It wasn’t too awkward. I was just thinking one thing. Do our terms still stand?” Phoebe said.
Cora paused, then couldn’t help but laugh. “Don’t worry. They still stand.”
Phoebe replied, “Alright, I won’t bother you anymore. Go ahead to your business.”
Just as they finished the call, Phoebe received a call from Declan. “Phoebe, where are you
