Genius Kids‘ Scheme: Claiming Daddy’s Billionaire Empire

Chapter 26: Daddy Really Gets Us

“And here’s our amazing clubhouse.” Thomas was practically bouncing with excitement as they walked. “The gym’s like something out of a sci–fi movie, and don’t even get me started on the restaurant Trust me, it puts fivestar hotels to shame!”

Irene quietly took everything in. Leave it to Haven Enterprise to turn a neighborhood into something straight out of a luxury magazine.

“Oh, and check this out,” Thomas pointed to a fancy building nearby his face lighting up. “That’s Silver Crest Academy. Like, the school in Silver City. All the important families send their kids there

Irene’s eyes lingered on the school building, a thoughtful look crossing her face. It was barely noticeable – just a tiny head tilt and a slight frown – but her clever kids caught it right away. They knew that look. That was Mom’s “I’ve got plans for you” face.

Three little faces snapped toward Thomas in horror, then turned to their mother in full panic mode.

“No way!” Lily’s bottom lip started doing that dangerous wobble that usually meant waterworks were coming. “Mommy, please no!

Lucas jumped in, all business despite being barely tall enough to reach door handles. “Those schools would be super boring for us. Everything they teach is way too basic!”

“Yeah!” Alex nodded so hard his curls bounced. “We’re already doing third–grade stuff. Plus, I can write code that would make their computer teachers cry.”

Thomas stopped mid–tour, his excitement completely derailed. Even Adam looked up from his wheelchair, suddenly interested.

“Third grade?” Thomas’s voice went squeaky. “But you’re… five?

Thomas felt his brain short–circuiting as he tried to process this. As someone who’d graduated from a fancy foreign university, he’d always been the smartest guy in the room. But these kids… these kindergarteners… The only person he’d ever met with brains like this was sitting right there in his wheelchair.

Adam watched everything with growing interest. His eyes followed each kid’s confident declaration, something that might’ve been pride flickering across his face.

“Regular lessons would be totally boring,” Lily announced with all the confidence of a tiny CEO. “We learn better by ourselves anyway!”

Irene caught all the sneaky little glances her kids kept throwing at Adam. Oh, you sneaky little planners, she thought. This isn’t about school at all, is it? Her brilliant little troublemakers just wanted to spend more time around their neighbor instead of being stuck in some classroom.

She sighed, knowing when to back down. Seeing how much her children hated the idea, she didn’t want to be that mom who forced her wishes on her kids. For now, she’d let it go.

“Okay, if you really don’t want to go to school, I won’t make you.

The relief on their faces was hilarious – like she’d just saved them from having to eat vegetables for the rest of their lives.

“It makes sense,” Adam’s deep voice made everyone turn. “Regular school would be wasted on them. They’d end up bored out of their minds and probably start causing trouble just to stay awake.”

The triplets lit up like Christmas trees. Their eyes were literally sparkling as they stared at him, totally thrilled that someone – that he got them so perfectly.

That’s exactly what we mean they all chirped at once, nodding so Hard their curls went flying everywhere.

What about private tutors?” Adam switched into full problem–solving mode. “They could make special lessons just for what each kid needs. No point holding them back just to fit some boring old system.”

His words hit home with all four of them. Irene found herself nodding it actually was a pretty good idea. Private tutors could help the kids grow at their own crazy–fast pace while still making sure they stayed on track. Plus, it would keep them from dying of boredom in regular classes.

Chapter 26 1

“But Mom, Lucas tried his best puppy–dog eyes, “we’re not even dirty!

Alex, always the practical one, was already heading upstairs. “Come on guys, the faster we clean up, the more time we get for our stuff before bed.”

That got them moving. Soon the bathroom was full of splashing and giggles. They came out squeaky clean in their matching PJs Alex in navy blue, Lucas in forest green, and Lily in soft pink.

“Thirty minutes for your own things, then bedtime,” Irene announced, watching them scatter like tiny ninjas.

Lucas sprawled on the floor with his tablet, muttering about stocks and market stuff while updating his investment charts. Sometimes Irene wondered if she should worry about her five–year–old playing the stock market, but he seemed to know what he was doing.
