Skylar’s pupils dilated. She stopped struggling, frozen in disbelief at what was happening before her.

The sharp pain jolted Skylar back to her senses. She swung to strike, but Yosef seized her hand, his fingers forcing their way between her slender, pala ones. Effortlessly, he pinned her much smaller hand against the wall.

Skylar bit down with such force that Yosef’s lip split open, drawing blood.

Yosef winced, wiped the blood from his lip, and shot Skylar a look. “Did you really have to bite me that hard?”

Skylar’s eyes widened in fury. “I could just bite you to death, you jerk!”

“I don’t like hearing that,” Yosef growled, pressing his hand to the back of Skylar’s head and pulling her in for another kiss.

Skylar tried her old trick again, but Yosef seized the opportunity to deepen the kiss instead.

Yosef knew exactly how to make Skylar melt. His hand slid down to grip her waist, fingers kneading gently at the sensitive curve.

Skylar involuntarily parted her lips, granting Yosef the perfect opening to deepen the kiss.

Yosef’s mischievous fingers lingered at Skylar’s waist, sending shivers through her. Her knees buckled, and she melted completely in his arms.

Victor was seeing red, his head buzzing with rage. He hauled Skylar behind him and sent a punch straight at Yosef’s face.

‘Damn it! I was only gone for a moment, and that swine was already making moves on my precious sister. Who could possibly put up with that?‘ Victor fumed inwardly.

Adam saw his mom and dad kissing and, without thinking, quickly covered his eyes.

Adam had barely finished giggling to himself when he heard Victor yelling at Yosef, then came the sounds of a scuffle.

Adam quickly uncovered his eyes and cried out, “Stop fighting! Please, just stop!”

‘They’re both my family. I don’t want them to fight,‘ Adam thought.

He said, “Mom! Make them stop, quick!”

Skylar regained her composure and snapped coldly, “Stop it!”

Victor and Yosef were blinded by fury, so consumed in their brawl that Skylar’s shouts fell on deaf ears.

Skylar rushed forward and stepped between the two of them.

Victor and Yosef instantly froze when they saw it was Skylar.
