The three of them used their tickets and queued up to go through security into the amusement park.

Just as they entered, a salesperson enthusiastically approached them, holding a cartoon–themed outfit in her hands with several more draped over her

arm.

“Little one, this is from our store. It has a cute little yellow duck on it. Do you like it?”

Skylar raised an eyebrow slightly. This salesperson really knew how to sell.

Winning over the child meant winning over the parents. Kids naturally couldn’t resist cute things. Once they laid eyes on it, it would be hard to walk away without buying.

Skylar didn’t really mind. As long as Adam was happy, that was enough for her.

She lowered her gaze slightly, waiting to see the little one’s reaction.

Adam touched the little yellow duck and said, “So cute.”

He turned his head to look at his dad. “Daddy, can I have it?”

Yosef didn’t really want to buy it for him.

Adam had always been frail, and he was worried that cheap and unregulated clothing might affect his health. He always made sure Adam got the best of everything.

Yosef kept a cold face and didn’t respond.

His silence meant refusal. Adam looked heartbroken, reluctantly glancing at the clothes in the salesperson’s hands.

He said, “No, thank you, miss. Daddy won’t let me buy it.”

Skylar pulled out her phone. “I’ll take one.”

The gloom on Adam’s face vanished in an instant, replaced by pure joy. “Thank you, Mommy!” he said, hugging the outfit tightly.

The salesperson seized the moment to pitch again. “This is a family matching outfit. Do Mommy and Daddy want one too?”

Upon hearing that, Adam nodded eagerly. “Yes! We want one!”

Skylar was about to say no, but the moment she met her son’s hopeful eyes, she couldn’t bring herself to say it.

She raised her hand to scan the payment code, but a large hand blocked her phone camera.

“I’ll do it.” Yosef pulled out his phone, paid, took the clothes, and handed the smaller one to Skylar.

Since it was already bought, she didn’t act coy and accepted the outfit.

“Mommy, Daddy, and our little one can go to the store to change. We also offer a free family photo,” the salesperson said.

Adam’s eyes lit up. “Really?”

The salesperson put down the clothes, pulled out a camera, and showed it to Adam. “Really.”

Adam was over the moon. “Mommy, Daddy, let’s go change clothes and take a photo together!”

He had never taken a family photo with both his parents.

Back then, he’d felt trapped and hated the marriage forced upon him.

Adam tugged at his mom’s sleeve. “Mommy, Daddy said he’ll take it with us.”

“Yeah. Theard.” Skylar kept a calm expression, but inwardly, she was utterly surprised.

Yosef’s behavior today was worlds apart from how he used to be. It was like he’d become a different person.

She couldn’t help glancing at him again.

“I just want to fulfill Adam’s wish,” he explained.

She’d heard that Yosef was very indulgent with his child. If Adam wanted a photo, of course he wouldn’t say no.

Skylar adjusted the clothes in her hands, then held Adam’s hand and went inside to change. Yosef followed behind them.

After they came out, their good looks instantly attracted a small crowd.

Skylar wasn’t wearing makeup, just sunscreen and a lightly tinted lip balm.

Even so, she looked effortlessly beautiful, like a fresh blossom untouched by artifice.

Yosef had a tall, lean build. He was muscular without being bulky. His face, cool and refined, made him look like a walking fashion model. Their son inherited the best features from both Adam had delicate features and a smooth, slightly chubby face. He was absolutely adorable.
