The Real Legacy Was Heartbreak novel Chapter 22

Chapter 22

Valerie instantly got goosebumps all over her body and struggled hard but was thrown to the ground by Raymond.

The next second, the man pressed down on her, immobilizing her limbs and preventing her from moving.

“Raymond, you are crazy, let go of me now, or I will call the police to arrest you when I get out.”

Raymond didn’t get angry, but instead smiled indulgently at her.

“Valerie, I hope you can be as fierce as this later.”

With that, he waved his big hand and tore off Valerie’s coat.

A chill pierced Valerie’s body, causing her to shiver as she looked at Raymond in despair.

“You let me go, or else I will bite my tongue and die…..”

Before she could finish speaking, the man kissed her again, silencing

the rest of her words.

Valerie’s face darkened as she bit down hard on the man’s tongue, filling her mouth instantly with the taste of blood. Raymond winced in pain and released her.

She took advantage of his inattention, kicked him to the ground with one foot, and then got up and ran to the window.

Looking down, she instantly felt her scalp go numb – she was actually on the third floor.

If you jump down, even if you don’t die, you will be maimed.

At this moment, Raymond had already stood up again, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, and walked towards Valerie with a displeased expression.

“Valerie, how could you bite me? When did you become so heartless?”

Seeing her constantly looking out the window, he sneered and raised an eyebrow, saying, “You wouldn’t be thinking of jumping from here, would you? Stop dreaming. If you jump from here, you’ll only have one way to go – death.”

As he spoke, he reached out to grab her, but she dodged him.

Valerie looked at him with disgust and said, “Even if it means death, I am willing to do anything as long as I can be separated from you.”

Raymond was stunned, before he could react, he saw Valerie leap from the upstairs and jump down.
