The Deadly Assassin Robin novel Chapter 1402

The surviving followers of the Ninth Syndicate were suddenly reinvigorated with hope.

Kage had arrived at Soulforge Mountain with the Crownward Syndicate's most elite forces—surely this marked the end for the demon.

One of the Warlord-level followers from the Ninth Syndicate leapt to his feet and roared, "Drakebane! You murdered our brothers and destroyed our Soulforge Tower! The High Pontiff will see your body torn to pieces!"

A heavy silence fell over the grand hall.

Robin slowly turned toward the man. "You? You're nothing but an insect."

Before that man could reply, Robin punched through the air. The man's body exploded into a bloody pulp.

Without pause, Robin stomped down and shattered Talmud's legs. "Even if every powerhouse in Netheris were to gather here today, I would still raze this land of evil to the ground."

Talmud screamed in agony, pouring every drop of his saintforce into an attempt to break free from Robin's crushing grip—but it was useless.

"It was Caym!" Talmud wailed. "He's the one who stole your wife's soul! Why are you taking it out on me? They're up here at the Skyborn Platform. They'll be here soon. But Drakebane, you won't survive their attack. If ... if you let me go, I'll plead with the High Pontiff on your behalf."

"Shut up." Robin stomped down hard, crushing Talmud's shoulder. "When I collect debts, I leave no one alive. You dared to steal my wife's soul and threaten me? You'll pay ten thousand times over!"

He raised Koslia's Vowbinder high and hurled it skyward.

The Vowbinder shattered into countless Heavenfall Blades, each imbued with the fury of the Dragonblood Stone's energy.

In a flash, every follower of the Ninth Syndicate was obliterated.

Talmud collapsed to the floor, paralyzed with pain. His gaze swept across the rivers of blood and mangled bodies of his followers. Only now did he truly understand the terror and cruelty behind the legend of Drakebane.

"To provoke me is to perish. Today, Netheris becomes history."

Vania, Hacyon, and Arthur stared at Robin—his body soaked in blood, his killing intent rolling like thunder. They were horrified and trembled from head to toe.

The old tales of Divine Drakebane—they used to think those were just exaggerated myths.

Now, seeing it with their own eyes, they finally understood the terrifying force behind that ancient world-shaking roar.

Huff, huff, huff!

Suddenly, the sky darkened with the silhouettes of exotic beasts descending onto Soulforge Tower's platform. It was a grand, terrifying spectacle.

From above, Kage shouted, "Drakebane! You've gone too far! Do you think Netheris is your playground? Even if you're the infamous Divine Drakebane of Earthend, in our domain, you either bow or die!"

Thunk!

Robin's staff smashed down, exploding Talmud's head like a melon.

Talmud died without ever understanding how Robin could be so bold, so violent, even in front of the High Pontiff and the assembled powerhouses.

Kage choked on his next words. His fury retreated behind a wall of fear.

Robin raised his golden staff, pointing it at the Crownward Syndicate members hovering above. "Caym! Return my wife's soul now—or I'll blast Netheris into dust!"

Caym chuckled and said, "Mr. Drakebane, I only took Shirley's soul to ensure the safe exchange for the dragon-slaying dagger. But with you acting like this, how can we keep our end of the deal? Don't you worry I'll destroy her soul right now—cast it into the Wraithlands and scatter it forever?"

Robin smirked coldly. "Go ahead. Try. But know this—if you do, I'll wipe your bloodline from this world. No one from your clan will survive this."

A flicker of panic crossed Caym's eyes.
