The Deadly Assassin Robin novel Chapter 1342

Without thinking, Robin unsheathed the dragon dagger, but as he lifted it, his hand stopped, suspended in mid-air.

A warm, familiar sensation enveloped him.

The white dragon!

The pale light of the moon pierced through the waters of Peachgrove, casting a soft, silver glow. This light danced across the dragon's shimmering scales, causing them to glimmer in a spectrum of colors.

The dragon descended gracefully, circling around Robin, its long whiskers brushing gently against him, as though sharing in the joy of their reunion.

Bathed in the pure moonlight, Robin could see the tenderness in the white dragon's eyes, glistening with unshed tears.

He reached out to pat its head, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Getting sentimental? Are you here to say goodbye?"

The dragon tilted its enormous head, its gaze fixed intently on the firebird emerald pendant hanging from Robin's neck.

Robin removed the pendant. "Is this what you're after?"

The dragon's head moved closer to the pendant, lingering near it for what felt like an eternity.

Though Robin couldn't fully grasp the dragon's intentions, he sensed there was something significant about the connection between the pendant and the white dragon.

After a long pause, Robin put the pendant back around his neck and seated himself on the emerald plaque.

At that moment, a voice, distant and faint, reached his ears.

"Robin, help me!"

Robin froze, shocked.

It was Shirley's voice!

Her soul, taken by Caym, was calling out to him in anguish from the Netheris Domain.

In an instant, the image of the woman he had seen just the night before flooded his thoughts.

Surprisingly, as Robin sat on the emerald plaque, fragments of another dimension seemed to slip into his mind.

The first time he had come here, he had placed the Golden Dragon pendant in front of the emerald plaque.

It appeared that this plaque served as a portal to the Netheris Domain.

Robin turned to the white dragon, its gaze full of complexity. He patted its head. "What are you trying to tell me?"

Suddenly, a small head emerged from the dragon's chest.

A tiny, black creature, its head adorned with large sapphire-like eyes, stared at Robin warily.

What is this thing?

This creature, no more than 15 inches long, resembled a prehistoric dinosaur in shape.

Though its size was minuscule, it was hard to ignore.

It leaped onto the emerald plaque, glaring at Robin with intense blue eyes, radiating aggression.

A chill ran down Robin's spine.

He couldn't believe that such a tiny creature could exude such a terrifying presence.

Even with his considerable strength and cultivation, he could feel the pressure radiating from this small beast.

With a mighty roar, the white dragon forced the creature to bow before Robin, ending its menacing stare.

Robin noticed the white dragon's eyes now locked onto the little beast with a fierce intensity.

He leaned in to examine the peculiar creature.

Its black body was only 15 inches long, but its large blue eyes seemed to dominate its tiny form.

The white dragon glared at the creature for a solid ten seconds.

Reluctantly, the creature leaped onto Robin's hand.

Its eyes, once filled with aggression, softened as it curled up on his arm like a lazy kitten.

Robin still had no idea what the white dragon or this black creature was trying to communicate.

He attempted to shake the tiny monster off, but it clung tightly to his palm, refusing to let go.

It won't let go?

Watching the interaction between Robin and the black creature, the white dragon gave a joyful roar, as if to say, "This is my gift to you."

The dragon coiled itself into a vortex, and Robin lay down within.

What is happening?
