Catherine was hit by Kimberly's words like a sudden, unexpected blow.
All eyes in the room turned to focus on Catherine.
"I always act with integrity. I would never resort to secretive tactics behind anyone's back," she declared, her tone icy with disdain. She shot a disdainful glance at Ethan and Kimberly.
"I've never hidden my admiration for Master Ramsey, but that admiration is mine alone—something I hold in my heart.
"Since meeting Master Ramsey, I've come to truly grasp the importance of everything my grandfather's generation struggled and sacrificed for!
"If the rights they fought for are only used to fulfill personal wants, then all their sacrifices will have been meaningless, an utter waste.
"I'm not here to debate values with you, nor do I wish to change anyone's desires. But when you hurt the man I respect most—my greatest admiration—then I will take action.
"Master Ramsey!" Catherine drew Lord Westeria's battle blade with a calm hand. "Allow me to handle these two traitors for you!"
Robin raised a hand, signaling for silence. "Wait. Once Shirley is fully dressed in her wedding gown, I want to deal with them in front of her."
At that moment, Ethan and Kimberly realized the true severity of the situation. They had crossed a line with Robin, and now there would be no mercy.
"Robin, don't do something rash!" Ethan shouted, his voice frantic. "If you lay a hand on me or my sister, Lunelle and Southeast Aurientia—both tied closely to Southmere Residence—will strike back. You'll become an outlaw in these lands!"
Ryder, appalled, slapped Ethan across the face. "What nonsense are you spewing?"
"Is that so?" Robin slowly stood, his eyes scanning the diplomats around him. "You really think those tiny territories will make such foolish moves?"
He turned to face the crowd, a dark grin curling on his lips. "In that case, I wouldn't mind eradicating a few of those imperial trash from Blossom Empire."
The atmosphere in the courtyard of the Mount Geneva Villa thickened with tension.
A few envoys from Lunelle and Southeast Aurientia, familiar with Ethan, instinctively lowered their heads.
"Catherine, do you dare use this?" Robin held up a bronze box containing the Emberleaf Fans. "This is a personal gift from me to you. Remember, no one, no institution, has the right to claim it!
"If anyone dares to interfere, I will personally cut their head off!"
Catherine held the heavy control device for the super weapon system with both hands, her voice unwavering. "Understood, Master Ramsey!"
Ethan and Kimberly, along with everyone in the room, were left completely confused. Why did Robin suddenly make such a decision?
Robin scanned the room full of international diplomats. "If any region dares to disrupt Shirley and my wedding, I will erase them from existence!"
"Got it, Master Ramsey!" Catherine quickly stepped aside.
Amber moved closer to Robin's side. "Mr. Ramsey, Mr. Dunn is ready."
"Good," Robin replied, adjusting his suit. "Tell Mr. Dunn to bring Shirley here first. I want her to witness me personally handle these two who have deceived her."
Tears shimmered in Amber's eyes as she struggled to hold herself together, nodding firmly before turning and rushing toward the villa.
A gust of mountain wind blew through the courtyard, lifting delicate snowflakes from the trees.
The chill of early spring seemed to seep into everyone's bones, causing an involuntary shiver.
Feeling the cold wind, Ethan could no longer deceive himself. If he didn't swallow his pride and beg Robin for mercy, he wouldn't survive the day.
"Master Ramsey, we know we were wrong. Please, spare us just this once. We will never do this again."
Kimberly froze, her eyes wide. "Ethan, how can you ask him for mercy?
"I don't believe he would actually kill us!"
Ethan screamed at her, "Shut up!"
"Ethan, he's a nobody!" Kimberly pressed, relentless. "He's just a homeless wanderer, using the name Master Ramsey! What's there to fear from him?
"Don't forget, we grew up in the royal family. We carry the king lineage in our veins.
"If he kills us, won't the royal families of Draconia retaliate?"
Ethan froze, and the room fell into stunned silence. Divine Drakebane, who had no regard for honor or shame—would he really care about the petty nobles of his homeland?
Is this really my brother? At a time like this, he's throwing all the blame on me!
