The Deadly Assassin Robin novel Chapter 1328

Caym's moody expression suddenly shifted into a mocking grin.

"One generation breeds heroes. The next generation are only shadows of their glory.

"The ancestors built the foundation for today's people.

"But many of their children only care about power and selfish goals.

"It's honestly laughable.

"If people like Eithan and Zayn weren't around, Draconia would already rule the Earth without question.

"The Curnow couple has helped Autreynia for years, yet they still haven't taken control of Draconia, because powerful leaders like the Twelve Great Warriors are still standing strong.

"Even though I respect those Twelve Great Warriors, I prefer foolish nobles like Eithan more, because they dream big! Hahaha!

"It's because of them that Draconia has not reached an untouchable peak of power. That gives us the opportunity.

"Well done, Francesco!

"Now, explain the full plan."

Francesco respectfully bowed his head. "After what happened with Kieran Shaw, the great-grandson of the Fioris and Shaws, Lord Southmere has decided not to pass on the Southmere Token to the Shaws descendants.

"This only deepened Eithan's resentment toward his grandfather.

"Princess Georgina used this tension to approach Eithan.

"If Eithan can convince Shirley to leave Robin so that Georgina can marry Divine Drakebane, then leveraging her new title as Master Ramsey's wife, Georgina will help him obtain the Southmere Token within three months.

"She is now disguised as a princess from the Lunelle royal line.

"With an offer like that, Eithan was willing to take the gamble.

"Kimberly hacked Robin's digital records, which made Shirley give up completely.

"Eithan's plan worked.

"Right now, Shirley and her family are on their way to the airport.

"Eithan had Shawn Cooper from Abyssal Dominion trick Shirley onto our private jet headed to Netheris Island.

"If Divine Drakebane truly cares about Shirley, he'll accept our deal. That way, the dragon-slaying dagger will come back to us."

Caym broke into laughter. "Perfect! Once the dragon-slaying dagger is ours, we head straight back to the Netheris!"

...

Harmonfield Airport Terminal, Draconia.

Shawn stood at the front of a group of 20 disciples, all patiently waiting near the airport entrance.

It was 3:10 in the afternoon.

The Dunns finally arrived at Harmonfield Airport.

Without hesitation, Shawn hurried to greet Timothy and Shirley. "Mr. Dunn, Ms. Dunn, I've come here on behalf of Mr. Eithan and Ms. Kimberly to await your arrival at the airport," he said.

Amber stepped forward and asked, "Shawn, what do you think you're doing?"

Shawn replied with a polite smile, "Ms. Jenning, there's no need to take it the wrong way.

"Mr. Eithan has made special arrangements for Ms. Dunn and her family. It's a private jet for their comfort.

"No matter your destination, the plane's team will guarantee your safety and take you exactly where Ms. Dunn wants to go."

Shirley glanced at Shawn and the people with him with an icy expression. "Step aside. We don't need your help."

Shawn quickly tried to clarify. "Ms. Dunn, the private jet is actually a present from Mr. Ramsey. Please accept it. If you don't, I'll have trouble explaining things when I return."

"Afraid we might change our minds and not leave?" Shirley asked with a bitter smirk. "The wealthy sure have their troubles. Fine, show us the way."

Her smile vanished, and Shirley marched straight into the terminal without another word.

As Shirley and her group followed the flight crew toward the terminal, Shawn finally let out a breath he'd been holding.

One of his men leaned in and murmured, "Mr. Cooper, aren't you worried that if Mr. Ramsey learns about this, our Abyssal Dominion might be doomed?

"Based on how Mr. Ramsey usually handles things, he'd probably wipe us out without hesitation."

"I've thought about that too," Shawn admitted, rubbing his forehead. "If it happens, we'll just have to deal with the consequences.

"But right now, our priority is finding someone powerful to stand with us.

"Everyone in the martial society knows that Divine Drakebane left us a long time ago. It's only a matter of time before the other martial sects come after us.
