The Deadly Assassin Robin novel Chapter 1326

Inside the living room of Villa One on the peak of Dawnspire Mountain.

Robin sat quietly, taking in the peaceful feeling of being back in Harmonfield for the first time.

He let out a soft sigh, thinking about everything that had happened in just one year.

So many faces, so many situations, and countless conflicts had come and gone.

At first, all he wanted was to fulfill the engagement arranged by Old Fred, marry his fiancée, and enjoy a quiet life away from worldly troubles.

But fate had different plans.

The Millers turned their backs on his grandfather's kindness and chased after wealth without a second thought.

In the end, they became nothing more than strangers who chose different paths.

It felt like destiny had already decided how things would play out.

That one romantic snowy night, though he missed the calculating Millers, he unexpectedly met Shirley Dunn, a pure and sincere girl like the falling snow.

Now, it was the first day of spring in a new year.

Oddly enough, snow was falling again in Harmonfield.

As he looked at the familiar scene, his mind was flooded with the memories of that snowy night when he met Shirley a year ago.

The snowfall carried a sense of stillness and chill, yet something special.

One glance between them had sealed their bond forever.

From that moment forward, they had been close, never apart.

No matter what problems Robin faced, Shirley and her family stood beside him, valuing honesty and loyalty above all.

They never cared about his status or what others thought of him.

Even if everyone else gave up on him, Shirley and the Dunns stayed true to him.

Forever loyal.

Robin felt deeply lucky to have met someone like her in this ordinary world.

With her by his side through every hardship, he felt complete.

Thinking of Shirley—her kindness, her stubborn pride, her cleverness—he couldn't help but smile.

A woman like that is truly one of life's rare treasures.

He would give up everything without regret if it meant being with her.

Just then, Joanna noticed him staring at the snow through the window and grinned, "Are you daydreaming about your lovely bride, Shirley?"

Eira laughed and added, "Ms. Dunn is one lucky woman, for sure! Hehe!"

Robin chuckled, knowing they were poking fun at him. "Any idea when Mrs. Lorelai, Marrisa, and Brenda will get here?" he asked.

Joanna looked at the time and replied, "Should be any minute now. General Shivers already sent a car to pick them up from the airport."

Right then, a cheerful voice rang out from outside the door. It's Brenda's voice. "Robin, we're here! I missed you! It's been nearly six months since we last met!"

The room was filled with a fresh, light fragrance.

Brenda came hurrying into the living room, heading straight toward Robin. "Robin, I can't believe you're getting married so soon," she said, her voice full of excitement.

"I was thinking about it during the trip. It still feels like it was seven or eight years ago.

"Time really flew by, and now here you are, starting this new chapter.

"I don't know why, but I'm feeling emotional. It hit me that we've all grown up."

Linking her arm with his, Brenda talked and laughed, but tears streamed down her cheeks.

Marrisa gently tapped her on the head. She said warmly, "You silly girl. Robin's wedding is something to celebrate!

"One day, you'll have your own wedding too. Growing up is a part of life."

Brenda puffed out her cheeks and said, "I don't ever want to get married. I'd rather just follow Robin wherever he goes."

Marge and Lorelai shared a glance, watching Brenda, Marrisa, and Robin together. One of them softly said, "Joanna, if Mr. Ramsey and Madam Suzanne were still here to see Robin's big day, they would be overjoyed."

Joanna nodded with a smile. "Yes, Mrs. Lorelai. Dad, Mom, Grandpa ... they're definitely watching from above."
