At Rouves Church in Marinaverdin.
Moshe hurried to Caym's side. "Dark Lord, the Purple Ark has shown up. Sergio and Jenna are facing off against Divine Drakebane."
Caym paused before slowly turning around.
A strange laugh echoed from beneath his black hood.
"Divine Drakebane swept across the globe, crushing even the mighty Autreynia underfoot. Heh, Sergio and Jenna seriously misjudged the situation.
"They really thought advanced technology could stand up to the relic of the Netheris dragon? How naive!
"Now that Divine Drakebane has the Dragonblood Stone fused with his body, he can fully wield the power of the ancient relic.
"The Purple Civilization's tech is nothing compared to a god-forged weapon like the dragon-slaying dagger.
Moshe looked at the reverence and longing in Caym's eyes, then asked cautiously, "Dark Lord, it's true that Drakebane now has the Dragonblood Stone and holds the ancient relic, making him nearly invincible.
"But during the war between Netheris and Steliaris, the Purple Ark lab they left behind might still contain powerful weapons.
"If Sergio manages to kill Divine Drakebane and take both our war god and the ancient relic we've spent years tracking down, all our efforts will have been for nothing."
Caym chuckled eerily.
"Humans in this spacetime may have been blessed with natural advantages, but their fatal flaw is building a civilization by rejecting their primal instincts.
"Sadly, in doing so, many super martial arts masters have fallen because of emotion.
"Even the coldest, most ruthless warriors lose their alignment with the natural order as they evolve with this so-called civilization.
"Divine Drakebane is no exception.
"As long as he has emotions, even the strongest super martial arts master will have a fatal flaw.
"Hah! If he really wipes out the Purple Ark, that would be great—saves us the trouble of doing it ourselves."
Moshe furrowed his brow, silent for a long moment before finally speaking up, "But if the Curnows are taken out, won't we be the ones left to face Divine Drakebane?
"With the power he holds now, we wouldn't be able to stop him at all."
Caym chuckled darkly. "The strong one never needs to fight to win.
"Relying on brute strength alone is a fool's courage.
"Divine Drakebane is just a mortal—and mortals always have weaknesses. Shirley and Joanna are his.
"I'll make sure all his battles and glory are overshadowed by that weakness.
"The edge of a warrior's blade can never outshine the mind of a strategist.
"Just be patient. The endgame belongs to us. Everything is going as planned."
...
At that moment, high above the Thalrex Order islands, a true life-and-death battle—watched by the entire world—was about to begin.
"Hehe. Drakebane, you'll pay dearly for your ignorance and arrogance!"
As Sergio's words fell, the Purple Ark, hovering miles above the ground, concentrated all its energy into the central beam emitter.
A blazing light nearly blinded the entire Southern Hemisphere with its stark white intensity.
Spectators around the world gasped in shock.
Everyone could tell—the light radiating from the Purple Ark was a form of superenergy.
An energy wave so powerful, it surpassed the destructive force of any nuclear weapon on Earth.
If Robin failed to withstand this blast, it wouldn't just be his end—it could mean the destruction of the entire world.
Sergio turned his deep, distant gaze toward Robin on the video feed.
"Mr. Drakebane, your stubbornness will drag the entire planet down with you.
"This is your final chance—cooperate, and the world will be yours.
"Refuse, and the Purple Ark's ultimate weapon will reshape the entire spacetime!"
"Spare me the nonsense," Robin said coldly, raising the radiant dragon dagger and aiming it at Sergio on the screen.
"The end of science is a myth! You think you can rewrite human civilization? Don't waste your breath. Let's fight!"
