The Deadly Assassin Robin novel Chapter 1182

The atmosphere in Snowy Inn suddenly buzzed with excitement.

The blue-clad guard seated across from Robin subtly reached for the short sword strapped to his waist.

With just a signal from Robin, he would act instantly, slashing the throats of the two Borealis men without hesitation.

Robin reclined in his chair, observing the two Borealis men with a faint smile that bordered on mockery.

"Kneel! Eat every last crumb of the crushed beef, then get out of my sight!"

The inn fell into a heavy suffocating silence.

After a moment of stunned disbelief, Will and Virgil exchanged glances before erupting into laughter.

"Kid, if you say one more word, I'll make sure you don't leave this place alive!"

With a sudden crash, Robin and the blue-clad guard both kicked out simultaneously, sending Will and Virgil sprawling to the ground.

The two massive men, each towering over 6'5" were forced to kneel before Robin, their knees shattered from the brutal impact.

Agonizing pain contorted their faces as they let out furious roars. "I'll kill you!"

Robin pointed to the pile of crushed beef on the floor. "You're not getting away with this. Eat it! Finish it, and I might let you live."

The inn was deathly quiet.

No one could believe what they were witnessing—this lean, unassuming man possessed such overwhelming power.

The so-called Borealis Tigers who were fearsome mercenaries, had been brought to their knees in an instant?

Desperate, Will reached for the handgun at his waist.

But before he could even pull the trigger, the gun was already in Robin's hand.

"You dare point that piece of junk at me? There's a price for that!"

A deafening gunshot echoed through the room as a bullet tore through Will's palm.

Several more shots followed in rapid succession. Bang, bang, bang!

Robin emptied the entire clip, leaving Will and Virgil's limbs riddled with bloody wounds.

The once lively inn, filled with chatter and laughter, was now utterly silent.

No one dared to make a sound.

No one dared to even glance in Robin's direction.

In that moment, everyone in Snowy Inn understood; this man was a force not to be trifled with.

"Eat it, and you might live."

With tears streaming down their faces, Will and Virgil crawled on the floor, devouring the crushed beef like desperate animals.

Doran hurried over with more beef and strong liquor.

Robin gestured toward Will and Virgil. "Charge everything to them. Now, bring me five more servings of beef and five more bottles of liquor."

"Yes, sir," Doran replied with a nod before heading to the back room.

Robin slowly finished the beef on his plate.

Will and Virgil, still weeping, pleaded, "Good sir, we're sorry ... Can we leave now?

"If this goes on any longer, we'll bleed to death."

Robin sneered, "Why should I care if you live or die?

"You'll stay down until I leave. If you try to get up, I'll chop your heads off!

"You think messing with me comes cheap? Consider yourselves lucky to still be breathing. Now shut up and stay put!"

Will and Virgil kept their heads lowered, too terrified to look at Robin's face, which still wore that unsettling grin.

How could this young man, so handsome yet seemingly frail, be so utterly terrifying?

Blood continued to seep from their wounds, their strength draining away with each passing moment.

Will and Virgil silently prayed. Please, finish quickly, or we're going to die here!
