The Deadly Assassin Robin novel Chapter 1168

Sylvan and his companions were completely stunned.

It had never crossed their minds that Robin would show up so suddenly.

He had already made it clear before that Robin was not allowed to step foot here.

If Robin dared to barge in, make him disappear without hesitation.

The security team guarding Exhibition Hall 17 was personally hired by him at a hefty price. Every single one of them was a warrior king-level mercenary.

Yet, despite all of this, Robin had arrived.

Shirley's lips curved into a soft smile. In her enchanting eyes, the only thing that mattered was the silhouette of the man she loved.

At this moment, she wasn't a CEO, nor a goddess, and certainly not a Huffurd graduate.

By his side, all she wanted was to be a woman who looked down on the world with him.

After a brief shock, Sylvan composed himself, showcasing the refined demeanor of the noble family. He gave Robin a small nod and instructed, "Waiter, bring Mr. Ramsey a glass of red wine."

Renata quickly collected herself from her initial alarm. She gestured casually toward the approaching server carrying a tray. "Mr. Ramsey, the wine in your hand belongs to Shirley. Yours is over there."

"Yes, Mr. Ramsey, ladies should always come first. Hand that glass to Shirley," Kaiya chimed in, reaching to take the wine from Robin.

Robin's gaze landed on Renata as he chuckled. "Shouldn't I be the one making you drink it?"

Renata's smile froze in an instant.

Jareth's expression darkened as well.

Robin's nonchalant tone sent a strange feeling through Shirley, making her uneasy.

Renata's expression twisted immediately. "What's that supposed to mean? Are you trying to flirt with me? My husband is right here, apologize now!"

Robin swirled the wine in his glass and scoffed. "With that rotten face of yours? Do you think I'd waste my time?

"You must drink this wine whether you like it or not! If you refuse, I'll make you!"

Renata snapped, her voice laced with fury. "Do you even know where you are? How dare you act so recklessly?"

Robin stepped forward, his presence unwavering. His voice carried a chilling edge. "Wherever I go, I do as I please. Pathetic woman, you have no idea who you just provoked."

The next moment, a flash of light flickered.

Robin seized Renata by the hair, his fingers lightly pressed her throat with a dangerous ease.

A stream of wine mixed with a libido-enhancing drug flowed straight down her throat, making a sickening gulping sound.

"You … you bastard! You're finished!"

Renata shrieked hysterically, her voice shattering the refined atmosphere of the Velmont Arch Exhibition Hall.

The prestigious guests, composed of renowned figures from around the world, stood frozen, utterly shocked by the brutal scene unfolding before them.

Jareth stood in stunned silence, his mind struggling to process what had just happened.

Then, snapping out of his daze, he shouted, "Stop! Stop this right now!"

Without even sparing him a glance, Robin swung his hand. The slap sent Jareth flying.

Sylvan's security team stormed into the hall, weapons at the ready. Fifteen assault rifles locked onto Robin in unison. "Release Ms. Lentz immediately!"

But Renata had no time to consider dignity or composure. She screamed like a madwoman. "Let go of me! Shirley, I swear I'll destroy the Dunns! And I'll ... "

"You'll never get the chance." Robin yanked her by the hair, completely unfazed by the armed guards. Then, with a powerful kick, he sent her crashing into the wall, shattering an oil painting upon impact.

Sylvan was completely taken aback. He never imagined Shirley's fiancé would be so aggressive. "Shoot him!"

Shirley quickly regained her senses and threw her arms around Robin, shielding him. "Robin, you have to escape!"

Robin cupped her delicate face, pressed a gentle kiss on her forehead, and gave a confident smile. "Relax, these lowlifes don't stand a chance against me."

In the blink of an eye, he lifted Shirley and spun, effortlessly avoiding the storm of bullets.
