Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 1955

That night, Jordan got plastered.

Solomon and I swiped a strange bottle of potion from him.

Back home, we debated how to use it. I figured we should drink it. Solomon thought it was too sketchy and might be just a scented oil.

We argued, neither budging. So, we settled it with rock-paper-scissors.

No surprise, I won. Solomon had to go along.

We each took a swig. It tasted weird but not awful.

"Feel anything?" I asked.

"Nope. You?" he said.

"Nothing," I replied.

He shook his head. "Told you we should've used it as aromatherapy."

Then, sleepiness hit hard.

Before passing out, I muttered, "Damn it! Nobody said this was a sleeping pill."

My head hit the pillow, and I had a bizarre dream.

It was Seamar City 20 years ago. The city was bustling, but the buildings felt retro.

Weirdly, Solomon was there with me.
