I walk in and see my broken matress and thin blanket. I lay down to pass the time. I'll have to cook dinner in about 20 minutes or so. If I don't I'll be punished...
Now that I think about it no one's beaten me today, there were the few punches but reason being was probably because of our guests that's coming tomorrow, need to make them believe everyone's being treared fairly. Fairly my ass.
I look at the time and see I still have time, I sigh and stand up and go to the kitchen. "Better to do it sooner than later." I mumble to myself as I grab the ingredients I'll need.
Lets just hope tomorrow goes better.
Theo/Gage's POV
"Theo? Theo, wake up." We hear someone whisper softly to us. We groan and turn over. "It's too early to wake up." We grumble but yelp as we feel a pinch on our side. We may have experienced a lot of pain during our lives but it still hurts.
We turn over and face a smiling mother. "Come on lazy ass. We're stopping for breakfast." She says as she climbs out the car herself. We sit up, yawning as we stretch. We look out the front window and see Mom and Dad hugging each other.
I hear Gage whimper in our head. "It's gonna be okay, Gage. Just because we're a Rejected does not mean we can't find love. And this time we know the person will fall for us, not just because a bond made them in the beginning." I say to him, trying to cheer him up. I know it's not working but it's the best I got.
"Theo why don't we try and tell them?Maybe they could help? I don't want to hurt them Theo, I can't do it." He says as we continue too stare at our parents. "Gage...I-I honestly don't know what to do? I say we try and tell them. It's worth a shot. Only thing I'm worried about is that they'll never forgive us. We just got them back Gage, I don't want too lose them again." I say sadly as we climb out the car.
They walk into the restaurant, holding hands, acting like young lovers. "Doesn't matter Theo. We need to tell them. They'll be able to do something, I'm sure of it." He says as we walk in and go sit down with them.
The guards stand outside keeping watch. We roll our eyes, seeing how easily it is to get past them. "All of them have obvious blindspots." We grumble to ourselves.
She's there.
She smirks at us and zips her lips closed. "She used a spell on us, to make sure we don't tell them the truth about our reasons being here!" I yell in our head as we glare in her direction. She disappears and we suddenly hear our Mother's voice.
"Theo! We've been calling you for over 5 minutes now. What did you mean earlier?" She asks us questioningly. "Huh? What do you mean?" We ask distractedly, as we try to see if we can see her anymore. She's gone.
"You talked about Steven telling you about us? What did you mean about that?" We look at her and have a grief stricken face. "I guess I should tell you how my life was before I came here."
"I thought I was their real son. They never told me I was a werewolf. I knew they were vampires but I always thought I was a late vampire. When my 16th birthday came along, I turned into my wolf, Gage. They told me about you guys. They told me how you didn't want to leave me. They even told me about Uncle Parker."
