"Come on, please work. Please!" She yells as she presses on his chest working. She lets out a sob as she pulls her hands back and turns away from him.

"T-Theo?" I say to him as I see his eyes fluttering. He coughs before smiling up at me softly.

"I-I'm g-glad t-that y-you w-were m-my m-mate. I-I l-love y-you I-Izzy..."

"Theo!"

Izzy's POV

"Morning everyone." I say as I pass by the nurses of the pack hospital. They all smile over at me sympathetically, greeting me back. I make my way down the halls, having remembered the whole building. I've lost track on how many times I've wondered these halls, trying to keep the ache in my heart at bay.

I slowly make my way to the reason that I show up here everyday. Peeking inside, I see Theo laying there, chest rising, eyes shut. I sigh sadly, walking in and sitting down in the chair right next to the bed. I look over at him and frown.

After Theo passed out, he was immediately rushed to the pack hospital. They did everything they could to heal him, but said that he fell into a coma. Skylar hasn't been well after hearing the news. Having to deal with both your kids hurt, will take a toll on you. Luckily she has Uncle Kyle to be there for her. It's been a week since the accident, and Theo shows no signs of waking up anytime soon.

The positive to all of this pain and suffering, is that we're finally rid of Bane. Theo finally got rid of him. It was decided to burn the body as well, just in case. Bane's mate lost it when she truly knew that Bane was gone. We decided not to end her but she went insane in her cell. Having lost your mate will do that to you. Towards the end she just gave up. No one knows how she did but she slit her throat. Upon finding her they found her laying on the floor in a pool of her own blood, smiling.

Ever since Theo's eyes closed, my wolf hasn't spoken to me. I cry to him everyday, begging and pleading for him to open his eyes. It never works.

I'll just have to wait for when the time is right.

"I miss you Theo." I whisper as I run my fingers through his hair softly. I stand up and lay down next to him, careful not to shift him to much. I snuggle into his side, taking his hand in mine. I smile softly as I feel the sparks from his touch. I'll never get used to the feeling I have whenever I'm with him.

"Please wake up Theo. I miss you, everyone miss' you so much. Please, just open those eyes. I just want to know that there's hope. I can't let them take you off." The damage Bane's mate was critical. Having taken the shot to his chest, it apparently caused one of his lungs to be injured. They decided to put him on life support since he couldn't breath properly on his own. Though, they've suggested we take him off, for him to stop suffering.

But I want to be selfish.

I don't want them to take him off. I can't and won't loose him. If I lost Theo, I wouldn't survive. He was my protector, he saved me from all my demons. Speaking of those demons, they were extremely shocked seeing my parents alive. Unfortunately for them, Dad still held a grudge and attacked Warrick and Beau. It took a couple of warriors to pry him off, and when they did, Mom attacked them. It took a lot of time to convince them that I'm over it. The whole pack apologized before leaving. I know Mom still speaks to the Luna, they grew up together and plus she had no idea that I was being abused by her family. I do hope that my family can forgive them though, even after all that has happened.

"Izzy can you please come to the office?" I hear Skylar ask me through the mindlink. I groan softly before kissing Theo on the lips softly. I stand up and head up to the office quickly. It doesn't take long since it's just across from the pack hospital. I climb the stairs before walking to the closed door. I knock on the door softly and wait for permission to end. Not even a second later the door opens and I smile brightly when I see who stands in the room with Skylar and Kyle.

"Callie!" I yell before rushing over to her and engulfing her in a hug. She laughs and hugs me back just as tightly.

"I missed you so much." She whispers in my ear and pulls back. I smile softly at her, wiping away fallen tears. I take Callie out the office before walking around the pack grounds, still keeping a close distance to the hospital.
