"The horror spoken from that place is disgusting and just plain awful. I respect those women greatly for what they had to go through. The pain. The suffering. The heartbreak. Moona saw it all. She saw how they were all treated. But when another Alpha tried to touch her she said no. She was punished."
"They're punishments were not easy at all. They bring you to the brink of death. They beat her, whipped, cut, burned, drowned. All the worst things you could do to a person. And her mate did it all too her. She had finally snapped."
"She put a curse apon them. She gave them the curse of never having a mate, to always be alone, to never have your other half, to be a Rejected. Those mates were set free and could find a second chance mate. Not knowing what her curse would really do, those Alphas grew old, lonely and depressed. They all beared the mark of the Rejected."
"The lived as Rejecteds and died as Rejecteds. Though Moona was so consumed with rage she did not know that she had put the curse on the future generations. Of course the Alphas would have made sure to have heirs too the pack. She realised her mistake but she couldn't lift the curse. It would forever stay. She told us she figured something else out but she never got the chance too tell us the rest."
"We don't know what happened because we had suddenly just lost contact with her. Until we met Skylar. Though the Moona that she has inside of her doesn't know what her person Moona, figured out. We tried contacting the real Moona but we've always failed. The Rejecteds aren't in every generation, it happens in different times usually."
"Unfortunately for Theo he is the Rejected for this Alpha line. Theo I'm deeply sorry for this." He says looking at us but we cannot speak or do anything. We're shocked to the core. "Gage? We'll never have a mate? Never have our pups?" I whimper inside of our head.
"I-I" Gage stutters out looking at everyone. We see the faces. Pity. Sadness. We don't want that. "I must go." We say and stand up. We walk out the room and head to the one place we know that would be our sanctuary.
We reach the garden in no time and we instantly break down. We both know how we've longed for a mate. Someone too call ours. To have our pups. To grow old with. To make us finally happy. Was that so much too ask for?
We cried. We cried for the first ever, since Uncle Steven and the family was killed. Since the nursery was burnt down.
I felt the anger. Gage was furious. I felt us shift and we were immediately running. We ran in the woods, needing to clear our head. I'm proud that he's dealing with it this way.
We suddenly stopped and let out a pain filled howl. Showing the pain we're in for not having and never will having a mate.
"Did you not listen? I'll never have a mate!" Gage yells at her, thankfully she ignores it.
"Oh sweety this just makes it easier. If you did have a mate we were gonna kill him or her either way. This way we won't need too." She says still smiling.
We look at her flabbergasted. "That is it! I refuse to do this anymore! I'm taking this thing off of me!" Gage yells and tries to take it off only for it too burn our hand. "Idiot. You think I thought you'd stay commited to this plan? I knew what would probably happen. So I got a witch friend of mine to curse it. Told the hag to make only for me to remove it but she made the curse for only your mate too take it off."
"But you're a Rejected. So you don't have a mate. So that medallion is never coming off. You will listen to us forever."
Its been a couple days since the confession from Ancient Matthew. He's gone home and left us with a final apology. I don't know why he keeps apologising, it wasn't his fault. We can't even blame Moona for her curse, she didn't mean to put the curse on us, she was only protecting those mates from their Alpha mates.
