Chapter 185 Witnesses.
Noelle POV
The fifteen minutes flew by, I didn’t have time to do anything, I looked at my family in the back and they were all assuring me everything is going to be okay while I doubted it’ll workout, this jury, judges and executor looked like they had it for me as well.
“All rise,” A voice calls, and we all stood up as the judges walked back into the room, they’re the ones who had the break while we stayed seated, looking at each other with worry.
“Take your seats, the prosecutor can start,” one of the judges order him, and he ran into action standing in the middle of the room.
“We have on our hand a case of pack attack, but whether it’s excused or not is yours to decide, for starter, we’re going to call Noelle from the
Snow pack currently, for from Alpha’s Ronan pack to the stage,”
he says and everyone turned to me, so I got up and walked where he’s asking me to be.
Do you swear
by the say the truth?” a
judge asks.
“I swear,” I answer him, I didn’t have anything to hide.
“How old are you?” he starts.
“I’m twenty–four now,” I answer him.
“Are you being held against your will in the snow pack?” he asks me.

“No that’s my home and these are my family, we are related by my mother’s blood,” I answer, giving them a full explanation to why I stayed with them, they are my cousins and uncles from mom’s side
“How old were you when you left Ronan’s pack?” he asks me next
“That was ten years ago, I was only fourteen,” I answer him, they already knew all of that and still they are asking about that history of mine.
“Why did you leave?” he asks me.
“To put it simply, I was scared for my life, I was never safe in that pack,” I say in a firm voice.
“Why?” he asks me, and I chuckled, is he really asking me why.
“Miss, this isn’t a place for you to laugh, this is serious matters,” the judge scolds me.
“It is funny though, you know about Ronan, you know what his pack stands for, and yes we were in danger, every day we spent there, there was a risk of one of us being raped, killed, or forced into something even worse,” I say squaring eyes with the judge that asked the question.
“Us?” he says.
“Me and my older sister, she’s the reason I’m still alive, she had saved me from that place and for that I owe her my life,” I say honestly.
“Why did you use a gun?” he asks me next.
“He killed my friend, he was on patrol, protecting his family, and he killed him without a second thought,” I answer him.

“Why a gun?” he repeats.
“Because I’m no match to him in human form, he’s a cold–hearted bastard, and I’m not one to let my friend and packmate’s death go without being avenged,” I answer him.
“But a gun,” he repeats, getting on my last nerve.
“Because the jerk killed my friend, the jerk tried to hit on me when I was just a child, the jerk tried to rape my sister once upon a day, I had every right to use a gun, a knife, or my plain teeth, it’s not how I did it, it’s that I did it and brought honour to my family,” I spat in their face, everyone went quiet when they heard my reasoning, when they found out why I did what I did and why Mia was actually encouraging me.
“Thank you miss,” the judge says and I was let off the stand, and then the bitch Ronan was called, he was acting all innocent and docile, like he’s being treated like an animal and he didn’t deserve it.
“You are accused of starting a war, what’s the reason behind it?” they ask him, straight the point.
“She’s my daughter,” he says, pointing at me and I growled at him, I’m nothing like him and I’m not his.
“Do you have any proof,” the judge asks him.
