I woke up feeling dizzy and not feeling my best, I knew something was wrong, I tried to remember what happened and it hit me right away, I tried to run, and I got hit with a tranquilliser, which can’t be legal, and the electric fence, also not legal.

I can’t avenge a wolf of my family and who’s a good friend of mine using a gun because I can’t bring a gun to wolf fight, but they can hit me with a gun like some kind of animal and that’s just okay?

“I’m going to kill them,” I mumble, all that I’ve been through only had me get angrier than I was before, and now that I’m waking up, I could tell I’m in some kind of hospital room.

“Don’t even think of that Noelle,” I heard a familiar voice say, and I tried to get up, but I was strapped down to the bed, I pulled harder, but the restraints wouldn’t give up

“Let me go,” I yelled angrily.

“You see this attitude of yours, it’ll only guarantee another trip to dreamland,” it was Captain Brooklyn who was sitting next to me and talking to me.

“That can’t be legal,” I/growl.

“It’s not, but you’re in a facility that deals with wolves who are out of order, so they get a free pass,” she says with a shrug.

“Let me go,” I repeat, with the same tone.

“I’ll tell you what Noelle, you got two options here,” she says and I glare at her waiting for her to tell me what the hell my options are, and she better say that one of them is me being sent free.

“You get to calm down, I’ll get you free from the restraints and we’ll talk, or I’ll leave you here in the capable hands of the nurses and their many, many calming needles, and once you’re ready to talk I’ll be back here,” she says, and my answer was another round of fighting and pulling, I even added some screaming and yelling, cursing her, the nurses, Mateo and even the judges.

Everyone I could think of, I have cursed, I think I even mentioned my father, the men who raised me, he too was cursed for not knowing I’m not his and killing me while I was just a baby and save me from this shitty life. I screamed until I was out of breath, my throat was hurting, and I needed a drink of water to help with the burning and the feeling of rusty nails in my mouth.

“You done?” Brooklyn asks, still sitting in the same spot, looking at

“How long did it take him?” I ask her out of curiosity.

“Three hours in, he used to hold the record, but now you do,” she says.

“Thanks, make sure to tell my family, they’d be so proud,” I say with an eye roll.

“I’ll make sure they get the news, do you always have this anger inside of you?” she asks me.

“What do you mean? I’m not angry,” I say with a shrug.

“Right, anger isn’t a strong enough word, it’s more of a rage that’s inside of you,” she says and I just shrug, refusing to answer.

“I talked to Mia, she told me about your life, how your mother used to be, how your father was the one in charge, he forced her into that house, into that pack, and now you know that’s how you came to this life, you just found out who your real biological father is, the rage, it’s in your blood right,” she says pissing me off, I turned to her feeling fire coming out of my eyes.
