The demons who'd gone missing were all from the second and third classes. The bosses of both classes immediately rallied their members and prepared to set out in search of their lost classmates.
Though the first class hadn't lost anyone, Derek heard that Shannon had gone after the kidnappers and made the call without hesitation. "We're going after them too!"
Zaprath was surrounded by barriers, but the mischievous young demons knew exactly where the barriers had weak spots.
One after another, they leaped over the walls and squeezed through gaps in the barriers. By the time the demon instructors noticed something was wrong and rushed over, the young demons were still lining up and waiting for their turn to escape.
The instructors barely managed to catch the remaining ones but realized more than half had run off. Upon hearing that several young demons had been abducted, they nearly lost their minds.
Why hadn't such a serious issue been immediately reported?
But now was not the time to find fault. One demon instructor was left behind to inform the dean and keep watch over the remaining students, while the rest rushed out to hunt the missing demons.
Not only were they supposed to search for the kidnapped demons, but also the ones who'd escaped to chase after them!

The passersby couldn't even see her face clearly. All they caught was a glimpse of the bold beautiful fox tail swishing behind her.
That said, the crowd wasn't particularly alarmed by the unconcealed display of demon form. Curiosity outweighed their shock instead.
"That car." Shannon sensed it the instant Cornelius did. Before he could finish speaking, a burst of supernatural strength flared around Shannon, and she launched forward at full speed.
As her supernatural strength intensified, Cornelius frowned. He turned to look, and his eyes widened in shock.
Shannon's figure shot past him like an arrow. Before he could process it, he saw that the single fox tail behind her had somehow become two.
Two beautiful fox tails left a blurred afterimage in the air. Right before reaching the car, she tapped lightly on the ground and soared high into the air.
"O' heaven and earth, come in control; spirits and all, and none shall flee. Bind!"
As she chanted, four talismans flew toward the speeding car. They transformed into spiritual chains binding the car from all sides.
With a loud bang, Shannon landed atop the car that'd come to a forced stop. Her two magnificent fox tails swayed gently behind her, drawing an elegant arc in the air…
