Hector's eyes widened. Before he could stop her, Shannon descended a bolt of supernatural lightning.

But unlike a normal strike of lightning, the summoned supernatural lightning seemed almost sentient. It landed gently at her feet and slithered like a snake circling her, Benjamin, Skylar, and Leah.

In the barrier, Hector visibly relaxed. He began chanting the spell as Shannon instructed while adjusting the array components and removing the command flag.
