Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1157

As the Demon Control Agency prohibited demons from acting on ordinary humans, Steen couldn't fight back and could only resign himself. His plump face was full of helplessness and anger.

Shannon gave him a glance before leading her team down another path. She uttered in a cold and resolute voice, "While the school security is busy dealing with the demons, let's head over to the building with the heaviest grudge."

Skylar and the others didn't object. It was great support from Team Demon.

As they wore school uniforms and attached stealth talismans to minimize their presence, they smoothly made their way to the science building behind the classrooms.

The science building mainly consisted of laboratories, so students rarely came here.

They followed the grudge from the ghost bottle and found themselves in an abandoned classroom. Faint traces of grudge lingered.

"It isn't here," Skylar pointed out.

For someone to become an evil spirit, they must've harbored a deep grudge and malevolent energy while alive. The site of their death would hold the heaviest concentration of such energy.

Though there were traces of grudge in this place, it didn't match the intensity of an evil spirit's death site.

"What is this place then? Why would he harbor so much grudge here?" Lexie asked.

It made sense that a grudge would linger where someone had a lingering attachment while alive, but this place seemed just like an ordinary and abandoned classroom.

Shannon crouched in a corner and examined the black and red stains on the wall. Her eyes narrowed slightly. "This is most likely where he was bullied."

The black-red stains were long-dried blood. Shannon could picture a young boy curled up in this corner while taking on kicks and punches from his tormentors.

His blood dripped to the ground as he was pushed and dragged…

She turned her phone screen to the others. They looked closely and saw it was a piece of local news article about an ambulance entering the school.

The headline read. "Teacher at Kirton Middle School jumps from the fourth floor due to overwhelming teaching pressure."

Mike didn't understand why a teacher's attempt to take their life had to do with this, but when his eyes fell on the location of the jump in the picture, his eyes widened in shock.

The location of the teacher's jump was none other than the window of this abandoned classroom. This couldn't be just a coincidence, right?

"It wasn't because of teaching pressure," Shannon as she eyed the evil spirit in the ghost bottle. Her voice was calm as she continued, "It's because of revenge from an evil spirit."

Bullies weren't always students in schools. Sometimes, it could be the teachers too.
