An hour later, Shannon's team unhurriedly got out of the car and glanced at the school ahead, where the lingering grudge hung in the air.

"It's in here," Shannon confirmed after checking the ghost bottle in Elliot's hands.

The school was eerily quiet since it was class time. Celine eyed the tightly closed school gates and muttered, "We can't get in, right?"

Just as Shannon was about to respond, several presences rapidly approached. She turned and saw a group of teenagers darting toward them from around the corner. It was the six members of Team Demon.

Other than Cornelius who remained composed, the other five were visibly out of breath. Steen plopped down on the ground in exhaustion and glared at Shannon's team, who'd somehow arrived before them.

When it spotted the luxurious car parked not far behind them, it grumbled in dissatisfaction, "You cheated!"

It should've known that humans couldn't possibly arrive faster than demons. It turned out Shannon's team had used human transportation.

Skylar calmly replied, "The rules never stated anything about forbidding the use of vehicles."

Another demon retorted, "But this is a college tournament among mystic schools!"

"Mystic Art doesn't ban transportation either."

Just as the demons were about to argue, Cornelius coldly snapped, "That's enough. Stop arguing and get into the school."

The demons finally quieted down. They followed Cornelius and strode boldly toward the school gates.

Mike quickly stepped in to stop them. "Wait! Are you planning to walk in just like that?"

Cornelius gave him a glance. "Why not?"

"Of course you can't!" Mike exclaimed. "If you barge in like that, you'll alert the school authorities. Do you want to cause a scene?"

After they'd changed, it was recess in the school, and students poured out of the buildings in large groups.

Shannon signaled for Skylar and the others to use the stealth talisman. Then, she led Lexie toward the school gates.

They spoke briefly with the guards and flashed out a campus card. Soon enough, the guard opened the gate.

Shannon and Lexie strolled through, while the other four, concealing their energies and presences, followed closely behind. The group of six quickly blended in with the students.

As they walked further inside, they spotted a guard in the distance dragging a chubby figure by the arm.

"I saw you through the surveillance cameras climbing the wall! Where did you come from, you troublemaker? Where are your accomplices?"

It was clear that Steen was caught.
