Girl Get Rid Of That Jerk (Williams and Shawn) novel Chapter 195

"I... I..." With all eyes on her, Lillian felt the weight of their expectations.

She stammered, "I was jealous of you stealing Joshua’s attention. I just wanted him to notice me. I'm sorry. I shouldn’t have done that..."

Allison raised an eyebrow. "Is that everything?"

"Yes."

Rose sighed deeply, "Oh, child, you’re acting like a kid. When will you grow up?"

Lillian hung her head low, her voice cracking with tears, "Mom, I'm so sorry. I promise I'll never do it again."

Ben chimed in, "It's good you see your mistake. Don't repeat it, or you'll tarnish the Fisher family name."

Allison studied Lillian closely, knowing she wasn't being entirely truthful. But getting Lillian to admit her feelings for Joshua in front of Ben and Rose was a no-go.

Allison decided to let it slide, commenting nonchalantly, "Ah, so that's the story."

Ben turned to Javier. "We failed to raise our daughter properly. Please don't be upset. Have you seen those videos online...?"

Javier played dumb. "What videos?"

Ben explained, "Someone posted videos from last night's party online."

"Oh," Javier took a sip of his coffee, "Let me check them out."

He pulled out his phone. "Where can I find them?"

Allison walked over, opened Twitter, and pulled up the videos.

Javier watched, nearly laughing out loud at the absurd titles. The comment section was full of criticism aimed at Lillian.

Javier chuckled, "Isn't this what should happen? When you slip up, you face the music. The backlash is well-deserved."

Ben replied, "That’s true, but it’s also a hit to both the Fisher and Owens families."

Javier shrugged, "I don’t see it that way. It wasn’t Allie who messed up, and no one online is linking Lillian to your family. The part with Mrs. Fisher was cut, and Joshua didn’t appear. How is this a stain on the Fisher family?"

T

he bone marrow donor's indicators were all good, so the hospital scheduled the transplant for two days later.

When London realized his sister finally had a shot at getting better, he broke into a smile for the first time in ages.

"This is amazing. Thank you so much, Ms. Allison. You saved my sister's life. We can never repay you. If you don't mind, Peyton and I will do anything you ask!" London was so moved he wiped away tears.

Allison beamed, relieved that the bone marrow match was a success and the surgery could go ahead. The burden on her shoulders finally eased.

"I'm happy I could help Peyton," she said, linking her arm with Joshua's. "We owe it all to my fiancé. He found the matching donor."

London kept expressing his gratitude.

Joy was also over the moon.

Allison had promised Peyton she'd help her with makeup, so after chatting with London, she left the room to meet Peyton.
