The first thing I do when I get to my study is write down the names from my dream. I think about calling Derek, but he beats me to it. I stare at his name on the screen for a moment and let it go to voicemail. The screen goes blank and when it lights up again with his name, I muster up the courage to reach for it.
“Phoebe?” he says sounding just as spooked as I feel.
“Yeah,” I breathe out the one word feeling the weight of it.
“That’s never happened to me before. You were there. Did you see it too?”
“I am way new at this, Brother. I think I’m still a little in shock,” I admit. Knight too. I saw everything you did.”
“Are you all right?” Mr. Knightly asks.
and his father come in. The two of them look very worried. “I was there
“I think so,” I take the glass of apple juice Knight hands me. “Something insane happened.”
“Is that Savage on the line? Why?”
“She was able to summon us both,” I inform him. “It was so real. As real as me standing here with the two of you.”
“Where were you when you first arrived? Did you know you were dreaming?” Derek asks. The two of them look at me expectantly.
“No, I was preparing a bath. I was in my apartment back in Paris. I was looking at the Eiffel Tower and I realized that it’s been almost a year since I was there. I didn’t end up in the creepy nursery until I opened the door. Where were you?”
“In my dorm room back in England,” he answers quietly. “I haven’t been there in over six years.”
“She said she got to you because we’re worried about one another. Is there way to keep her out of our heads? I don’t want her jumping into my head whenever she pleases.”
“Yes,” Mr. Knightly says. “Tell us what she said. What did you see? What are these names?”
“What names?” Derek asks.
“The names stitched into the front of the bassinets.” I explain.
“I didn’t see bassinets. I saw those creepy cribs from the old orphanage movies. The ones that a lid away from being cages. They were filthy and I didn’t
see any names.”
“Wait, we didn’t see the same things? What the fuck?” I’m not even going to try and see if there is an explanation for that. “Okay, there were twelve cribs. One for each of her children. She said Derek and I were the only ones that she gave birth to and that there was another one on the way that was
entrusted to a witch.”
“A witch?” Knight and his father say at the same time./
“We have the same parents. That would mean that the child born with this witch could genetically be like us. However, you both kn Whether the child is blood related or not, they still inherit the power of the vessel used to create them.”
w magic works.
“Do we have a name?” Mr. Knightly asks without hesitation. Knight looks over at me and for a moment, I think he’s going to protest, but his expression hardens the way it does when he leave with Perry or Violetta.
“You guys are serious about that?” I demand/
“You don’t understand, Angel. Some things are just not meant to be in this world. These things get out of hand. You’ve seen the kid Perry has in her house. There are two of them. Beings we can’t control. It was why we had to stop the that breeding program and it looks like there are more out there

Chapter 204
“Eliza is being used for something that can potential destroy everything. The life of this witch and her child in exchange for the lives of millions. This is they type of thing that ended the era a mortals. These people are playing god with things they don’t fully comprehend.”
“Your crazy grandmother’s rant finally makes sense. We need to sniff this witch out. The names, Phoebe. What are they?”
“The others. The other children.” I answer. “I saw bassinets. Each one had a name and each one had a wolf toy in it. Derek’s and mine were silver. Aca’s was brown. Omen’s was pitch black with blue eyes. They kind of glowed. I didn’t g get to see the rest of them because they were lined up against one wall side by side. I could only see the the outside to some of them.”
“This is good. We need more information on this. Did she say anything?”
“All she wanted was to warn us of the baby to come. She said FATE was behind this and that no matter how hard they tried to figure it out that they would never know we could communicate like this,” Derek informs them.
“FATE?” Mr. Knightly asks. “She works for FATE she said that
to
“Do you know what that is?” I ask.
