She laughed and leaned forward. "Don't think no one notices how Alpha looks at you. He does a good job hiding it but you can see it if you pay close enough attention, and I can smell his scent on you. Secret morning rendezvous?"

I laughed at her and shook my head. "Um...no ma'am. I literally ran right into him coming in here. That's all." She rolled her eyes and sat back, pushing her finished plate away from her. "Sorry to burst your dreams of a secret coupling." I said playfully, trying to lift myself from the fog surrounding me since yesterday.

I finished my plate and took it to the dirty slot before following Ivy out of the dining hall and toward the training center. Asher ran up behind us and fell into step beside Ivy. "Hey ladies. Joining in training again today Lili?" He asked.

I shifted, anxious knowing he'd witness the spectacle yesterday surrounding me and nodded, looking forward as we walked into the building. "Yeah, I figure there's no better time to learn than now right?"

Asher chuckled and nodded before leaning in to kiss Ivy. He walked over, stopping in front of me and leaned down to whisper in my ear, "Don't worry about it. You'll be great here. Go kick some ass."

The groups started filtering in and I felt Weston's gaze fall on me before he walked over to the group of males standing around Asher. I rolled my eyes as Soleil sauntered in, being sure to strut just close enough to Weston and the males before making her way to the front of the group of females.

"Ok great. Now we can get started." Ivy said with an eye roll my way. "Ladies, today I want to start with cardio. We're going to work on your endurance and then move on to sparring and then finally technique and form. So let's get started then. We're running. Let's go." She started into a trot and took off toward the track.

The group fell in behind her and I could see that the males were falling into line behind us. Asher quickly made his way up to the front, jogging beside Ivy before increasing his pace. Ivy quickened her own to keep up with him, falling in line just behind him. I felt a presence at my side and looked over to see black raven hair whipping in the wind just in front of me. I pushed my speed to fall in just ahead of her, holding my pace as she continued to push me faster.

"Looking good ladies. Try to keep up." I heard Weston's smooth teasing voice to my right and I looked over to see he was smirking down at us as he pulled ahead.

I smiled in pride before I felt Weston's arm slip around my shoulders. "That was ridiculous Lili. You're the fastest one here by far. We could use that you know?"

My brows rose as I looked at him glancing down at Asher who nodded in response. "He's right. We need fast scouts sometimes for time sensitive missions. Ivy runs it herself."

Ivy jumped to her feet and beamed at me. "Yes. Oh my god you have to. We'll talk more later. Let's get back to training today and I'll work with you myself."

We fell into partners and Ivy began with me as we worked on our sparring, moving through different combinations and stances against attacks. As we ended technique, I realized I was actually going to get the hang of this. I had only begun to train, but I could already feel my body anticipating the movements. I was no where near the strongest in the group, but I could make up for that in technique and smarts. It helped that I was apparently the fastest one in the group, and Ivy wanted to teach me to harness that and use it to my advantage.
