Family's Spoiling Kills: Reborn, I Seek Wild Revenge novel Chapter 6

"Shut up!" My father instinctively roared at me.

"You filthy bastard! Who do you think you are, speaking to us like that?! You must have betrayed us! You ruined everything! I can't believe I raised you—I should have torn you apart the moment you were born!"

The more he yelled, the more agitated he became, even standing as if he were about to knock me to the ground.

But as soon as he stood up, Beta Cody kicked him hard, grabbed his hair, and slapped him twice.

"I told you," Beta Cody said, his voice ice-cold, "Miss Fiona is our Alpha Derek's honored guest. Show some respect. We've already checked Miss Fiona's phone. She had no idea about your so-called plan. She even wanted to report it, but you all stopped her."

Hearing this, my heart finally steadied.

Everything I had done worked to clear my name.

Alpha Derek shouldn't give me a hard time anymore.

Beta Cody appeared slim and refined, yet his strength was terrifying.

My father's face immediately swelled, blood trickling from his mouth.

My mother, no longer daring to resist, quickly knelt and begged for mercy, shifting all the blame onto herself.

"Beta Cody, you are a generous man. Please spare our Freya. Everything was done by her father and me. Please speak well of us to Alpha Derek. Freya even donated blood for Luna Vivian; she truly wanted to save her."

"You mean the wolf iris flower incident before the blood donation?" Beta Cody sneered. "That's where the true malice lies. She knew our Luna was allergic to wolf iris, and she drank a cup of wolf iris flower's juice herself, almost as if she wanted Luna to die."

I hadn't expected Beta Cody to investigate that matter as well.

The three of them were now terrified.

Their previous arrogance vanished, and they kept bowing and begging, pleading for him to spare them.

By now, Beta Cody had grown tired of talking to them.

He waved his hand, and three warriors stepped forward, dragging each of them into the old factory.

Soon, their screams filled the air.

The scent of blood seeped from the tightly shut door.

I trembled.

"Miss Fiona, Alpha Derek would like to see you."

Beta Cody regained his polite demeanor, inviting me into the car.

As I got in, I couldn't help but wonder—now that he knew I wasn't involved, why did Alpha Derek still want to see me?

When we arrived at a private hospital, I saw Derek standing outside the ward while Vivian lay in a hospital bed receiving an IV drip.

She was pale and breathing weakly, but the instruments monitoring her heart rate by the ward worked steadily, proving that she was still alive.

I was stunned—Vivian hadn't died!

Before I could ask what had happened, Derek made a "shh" gesture.

I closed my mouth.

Derek answered, "He's Vivian's father."

I was Vivian's sister?!

The revelation hit me like a thunderclap, shaking my very core.

Through Derek's explanation, I learned that Vivian had a younger sister, Zoe Mitchell, who had disappeared when she was three years old during a family outing in the mountains.

For years, Vivian had been searching for her sister.

When Derek first saw Freya, he noticed how much she resembled Vivian and wondered if she might be Zoe.

An investigation revealed Freya wasn't the one.

But then, I donated blood to Vivian.

Vivian had a rare form of golden blood, something extremely rare in the wolf pack.

I had only recently been allowed to leave the attic after years of confinement. During a routine medical checkup, I discovered I too had this rare golden blood, and the hospital kept a record of it. The news reached Derek, who immediately had a paternity test done.

But before the test results came back, Vivian was framed.

Now, with the truth finally revealed, I had no doubt—I was Vivian's biological sister.

Alpha Derek's power was immense. When Vivian was in danger, he had called in the best doctors with his private jet and pulled her from the brink of death.

The news of Vivian's death was only spread to expose Freya's true nature.
