Chapter 35

Luca

I’m sitting outside Camilla’s hospital room, waiting to hear any updates on Ariana’s state. With Luciano of course. After he ‘patched me up he told me I should go to bed and rest, where I then told him to go fuck himself and brought the bottle of whisky along with a notepad here to wait. I would have been much better off having Tony patch me up, he’s the one who usually does it when were out and about and can’t get to Camilla, but I know Ariana needed him. It’s been over 10 hours now and Camilla has only left once, telling us that she’s stable and no we can’t go in and that when she’s finished with her, she wants to check me out to see what more damage Luciano did. That made me chuckle, and Luciano mocked offence. He knows he’s too much of a brute to be doing medical practice.

I sit and wait and I already decided when I saw Tony carrying Ariana out of her fathers house that she would need some ink to cover the scars. know she will still look just as beautiful with them, but I also know how women think, and I would be really honored if she allowed me to help her make her feel beautiful again. Just the thought of being allowed to put my hands on her and have her wear my creations every day has my cock getting hard. I shake my head at the thoughts and adjust myself in my slacks. The last thing I need is for Luciano to ask why I have a raging hard on…I sigh a little at the thoughts running through my head. That girl really is something something that my Don loves. Apparently. I don’t know why you would hand over something you love to your enemies, but then again, I allowed him to do it too so I guess I’m just as fucked up. Hopefully the offer of decorating her skin will help win me back some brownie points. Even if I have to love her from afar for the rest of my life, that would be enough for me. The door to the room opens and both Luciano and I stand to see Camilla and Tony come out. Tony looks awful, the scrubs he’s wearing are covered in blood and he must be exhausted after being in there for 18 hours, Camilla has ordered him to go shower, eat and rest before coming back. Luciano and I’both look at her and spit out at the same time, “How is she?!”

Stable, still out to it. There’s no way to tell when she will come around, her body has been through a lot. 1000 cuts and 27 broken bones. If she had gotten here even five minutes later than she did, she most probably would not of made it.” she sighs out.

“Anyway, time to look at what Luciano did to you Luca, come on.

“I get to go in?!” I say with a smile on my face.

“Yes, I can’t treat you in the hallway.”

‘What about me? Can I come in?” Luciano looks at her with pleading eyes.

“Hmm…no. You’ve done enough. Stay out here or go and rest, I don’t care.”

I look at Luciano and shrug my shoulders. “Sorry Don.”

Following Camilla into the room she shuts the door as I hear him plead out, “Camilla please, I didn’t know!”

There at the side of the room in the bed I see her. I look at Camilla for permission and the nods her head as I make my way over and sit beside the bed. She has a light sheet pulled up to her chest and I can’t help myself. I need to see what was done to her, so I grab the sheet and gently pull it down to her feet. She lays there completely naked and the sight makes tears unwillingly fall from my eyes,

“We couldn’t risk putting clothes on her.. There’s just too much…” Camilla says softly.

I nod at her, unable to make words of how badly she’s been hurt. I should have never let this happen…I pull the blanket back up and kiss her forehead slowly.

“I’m so sorry princess“, 1 breath out.

“Come on, lets check you out now“, Camilla says.

She takes off the handage and curses Luciano. Pulling out the staples he put it and then cleaning and stitching it properly. I don’t let go of Ariana’s hand unce. I just need to feel her. Camilla watches me intently as she cleans up the work space, giving me more time to sit here with

“I need to go and get some rest, Luca. Do you think maybe you could sit by her for the night and have someone come and get me if she crashes?”

Really? Uh yeah, I can do that“, I say trying to cover up my excitement.

Chapter 35

“What about Luciano though?

She rolls her eyes. “I’m not letting him in. I’m very disappointed that this happened because of a decision he made, but I know you’ll let him in and I can’t exactly stop him.” She sighs. “I just won’t be the one to let him in. She kisses Ariana on the head and leaves. I take a minute to just be with her alone while I can. I brush her hair from her face and lean in to place a soft kiss on her lips. “I’m sorry I stole that princess, but I just needed something to get me through not being able to love you“. Then I walk to the door and poke my head out to see Luciano standing there waiting with his eyebrow cocked.
