Violent Little Thing (Lily and Luciano) novel Chapter 34

“Help me get her down!” Tony barks at me as he rushes to hold up Ariana’s body weight so she’s not hanging from her arms.

I look around the room for a key or something to break the chains. On one size of the mom is a table lined up with different tools of torture that are covered with her blood. I take a pair of bolt cutters and a chair, dragging it over to them in the middle of the room. I step onto the chair and cut one chain and then the other and watch as her bloodied, mangled body falls onto Tony. He gentle sits on the floor with her in his lap and brushes the hair from her face crying.

“Come on little violence, it takes more than this to hold you down, right?” He says through his sobs.

I quickly kneel down beside them and check her pulse. Tony looks at be for confirmation.

“It’s weak, but it’s there, get her up, we need to get her back to Camilla, now!”

I help him stand but I don’t take her from his arms. I can’t. Seeing her in this state is just crushing me with even more guilt. We make it to the top of the stairs and down the hall.

“Ari?!” I hear both her brothers yell out as they rush over to us.

“Is the dead?” Sam says as he touches her forehead.

“Not yet“. I grit out as Tony continues to ran out of the house to the car.

1 grab Luca under his shoulder and help haul him out as well, putting him in the front seat while Tony sits in the back with my angel laid on his lap. He’s taken his jacket off and his desperately trying to hold pressure to her wounds but there’s too many and blood is just pouring from her everywhere.

“Drive!” he shouts at me as he sees me watching them.

I drive even faster than I did when we were coming here. I need her to live, I need to apologize. I need her to kick my ass and tell me how badly I fucked up.

We make it back home and I help Luca out who’s not looking so great. Tony is already running inside with Ariana and my men help him by opening the door and bringing out a stretcher to put her on. I know Camilla will look after her so I look at Luca

“Well this is Deja Vu brother. Remember when I accidentally shot you when we were kids and I had to take the bullet out before Dad found out?” Trying to give him a reassuring smile.

“Of for fucks sake

*jimmy, get the whisky!” I yell out as I help Luca onto the kitchen counter and lay him down.

“This is gonna sting brother.”

He takes a long swig of the whisky before handing it back and Jimmy and Carter hold him down as I rip his shirt and pour the whisky on his bullet hole.

*Good thing I’ve g

got experience.” I smirk down at him.

Camilla meets me on the way to her hospital room.

“What the fuck.” She whispers out.

I’ll do everything

rything I can honey, but this is a lot. You’re going to have to help me,

okay?”

Whatever you need.”

We get her to the room and Camilla throws some scrubs at me and instructs me to wash my hands. She cuts off the remaining clothes that hang shredded to her body and hooks up all sorts of machines, explaining what she’s doing the whole time. She puts Ariana under, so she won’t wake or feel the pain and explains we need to clean and close all the cuts first. This is something I have experience in so I have no problem starting while Camilla hooks up some blood to start feeding back into her. I start on her hands, taking note of all the broken bones and being as careful as possible as I clean and stitch, clean and stich, clean and stich on repeat. Camilla doing the same on her other hand. We don’t say much as we work in tandem. I look at the clock and it’s been five hours since we started. Ariana’s heart rate is steady now, but Camilla refuses to let anyone, Including Luciano into the room, telling him it’s a sterile zone and Ariana can’t be exposed to any more risk of infection from being walking their filth in here. I think she’s just pissed at him, like I am. I’m thankful for it though. This is my moment to help Ariana. To fix what he’s broken and couldn’t appreciate. We finish on the front side of her body and 1 help Camilla to gently roll her over so we can start on her back. The sight is gruesome to say the least…but this violent little thing is strong, I know it, and I will show her how to love this body that has been marked by death. One cut at a time we clean and stich. I look up to see Camilla looks a little pale. It’s been almost 10 hours now.
