Chapter 195

The sunset is absolutely breathtaking now, with colors swirling over the ocean as I stare at it. I turn on my feet to look at my guys when I gasp again. There, on one knee each, are Nico and Mason, smiling up at me while the hold open a box each containing two beautiful rings.

“Isla.” Mason starts. “I have loved you since the first day I saw you. I loved you silently every day as we grew up around each other, and I never thought that I would be worthy of receiving your love back. You have made me so happy, you’ve shown me what it feels like to be confident, to go for what I want and to embrace who I am, but I’ve come to realize that without you, I am nothing. I need the air you breathe, I need the love that you give, I need you, to be the best version of me. I want to love loudly; I want to scream it to the world that you are mine and I am yours. I want to grow old together and enjoy all the moments in between. I want you to be the first thing I see when I wake up and the last I see before I go to bed. I don’t want to live a life that doesn’t include you and your happiness.

He turns to Nico who smiles brightly as he speaks.

“Isla, amore. I am a brutal man, but for you, I am weak. I am a man who knows what he wants, and I will happily kill for it, but for you, I would kneel down and die if it is for what you want. I want to give you my heart, my soul, my body, everything that is me, because if you have it all, then it will be something worth being. I adore everything about you. The way you stretch like a cat in the mornings, how you scrunch your nose when you’re angry, how you kiss like you’re conveying unspoken words. I adore how you look in the mornings with your hair a mess, and how you feel when you curl into my chest at night. You’ve shown me what love really feels like and I don’t think I ever want to let that go. I want you, Isla, for now and for the rest of my life.”

“Will you marry us?” They say together. I lower my hand from my open mouth and quickly swipe away a stray tear as fall to my knees in front of them.

“Yes.” I whisper. “Yes. I love you both. I want to spend our lives together. Yes!” I cry out as I wrap my arms around them. Mason pulls back to kiss me, displaying all his love into it as his mouth moves over mine quickly before Nico pulls me towards himself and does the same, his tongue dancing with mine before he pulls away and stands, offering me a hand up as Mason gets up himself.

“One more surprise, princess.” Mason says sweetly as he points behind us where a small gathering of people are setting up a little archway of vines and flowers surrounded by tea light candles and a few chairs. I see Mom and my dads walk onto the beach and they wave happily at me.

“What is this?!” I gasp.

“We don’t want to wait, amore. Will you marry us here and now?” Nico says hopefully.

“Let us start the rest of our lives together.” Mason kisses my hand.

The smile on my face says everything, but I say it anyway. “This is perfect. Absolutely and completely perfect!”
