Tammi’s shrill voice ruthlessly pierced my eardrums.

“You filthy maid, living in such a nice hospital room on Mr. Cantrell’s money, and you still dare hit him!”

She said this as she rushed over, her face twisted with malice, as though she wanted to devour me.

Geoffrey gripped Tammi’s arm tightly and pushed her back. “What the hell is wrong with you? You made my wife like this, and I haven’t even settled accounts with you yet! Get out!”

Tammi staggered a few steps back, grabbing the end of the bed to steady herself.

Her eyes immediately reddened, and she glared at Geoffrey. “You’re kicking me out for this filthy maid? For this bitch?”

“What child? When did we have a child?” Geoffrey looked at her in confusion.

He almost lost his footing and fell backward, but security caught him.
