"Have you found your mate?" I asked wrapping my arms around my legs. Squeezing them tightly to keep in my tears. I had no right to cry like a baby when she wasn't.

She was so strong.

"Nope. But I'm in no rush. I get to see you all grow." She shrugged.

Opening my mouth I was going to speak before she hushed me. Straining my ears I could faintly hear someone making their way into the clearing.

Standing to my feet I glared at the rogue.

Her long red hair was thrown into a ponytail. Her clothes were ripped and dirtied and she had no shoes but she still managed to look pretty.

"Luna Ariana?" She questioned stopping as she heard us all hiss in warning.

"Yes?" I questioned trying to figure out her familiar scent.

"My name is Yolanda. I believe you've met my brother .... Glen." She choked out as she wrapped her arms around herself.

"I came to ask for forgiveness. I was blinded by jealously. I thought - I thought you were stealing my mate. But he's a monster. He's cruel and sick and I hate him." She growled angrily wiping away her tears.

"What changed your mind?" Vincent laughed. Jossie sent a glare his way making him quickly quiet down.

"He tried to kill my brother. To send me a message." She scoffed shaking her head in anger.

"So thank you for killing that son of a bitch."

She's that she-wolf!

My wolf growled.

"You're that wolf that attacked me?" I questioned glaring at her.

Paling she took a step back before nodding.

"Like I said I was blinded by jealousy. Please, I'm sorry." She begged taking another step back.

Raising my brow in confusion I nodded at her.

"Get off my territory and don't come back." And with that she was gone.

"We need to work on your vampire side sweetheart. We can't have your eyes turning red every time someone pisses you off." She joked as she lead me back to the house.

"So you're staying?" I asked.

Looking to her son she thought it over before nodding.

"I reckon our family is big enough to take on the council if they try and bitch." She grinned standing on the tips of her feet as she kissed the side of Vince's head.
