“Now I don’t know, I haven’t specifically checked, I just want to know on the day of delivery,” I said to Jason Hart as my gaze softened, discussing my pregnancy with him in the quiet corner of the cafe.

My hand instinctively moved to my belly where my unborn pup was growing. The gentle movement had become second nature to me, a protective gesture that my wolf encouraged.
