Chapter 126: Aria, Re–Mark with Alexander Again
Chapter 126: Aria, Re–Mark with Alexander Again
(Aria’s POV)
The memory was so insignificant that if Dominic hadn’t brought it up, I wouldn’t have even thought about it. My wolf stirred restlessly within me at this forgotten connection.
As I stood there astonished, Dominic smiled, his silver–gray eyes warm with tenderness.
“At that time, I thought this little she–wolf had such character,” he said softly. “So I stood backstage and
watched you give your speech, pretending to be calm while my heart was racing.”
Dominic’s voice filled with affection, his Alpha scent shifting with emotion.
“I don’t know when it happened, but as I watched you up there, you slowly entered my heart and never left.“.
I instinctively moved my lips but found I had nothing to say. My pregnant wolf whimpered softly at the
overwhelming emotions.
So I just bowed my head, biting my lip in silence.
Dominic didn’t mind. He pointed to the photographs covering the corridor walls.
“Actually, from the beginning, I took those photos of you because I wanted to confess my feelings,” he explained. “But…”
He paused, not continuing, but I knew what he wanted to say.
Back then, I had been obsessed with Alexander. Relentlessly pursuing him with single–minded devotion..
Naturally, I couldn’t see anyone else’s kindness.
“So these photos have accumulated little by little over the years,” Dominic continued with a smile.
He looked directly at me.
“But fortunately, they’ve finally served their purpose.”
When my eyes met Dominic’s, I quickly looked away. My heart felt like it was on fire, though my wolf remained unexpectedly calm despite his powerful Alpha presence.
However, my rationality told me I couldn’t respond to his confession.
Adult love was no longer something a fleeting impulse could compare to. There were too many things to
consider.
I struggled to understand why Dominic would confess under these circumstances.
This love, for him, was a calamity. And mutual affection would only escalate this danger into disaster!
Yet when I looked into Dominic’s eager eyes, his expression suggested I only needed to nod. Then we could embark on a journey of happiness together.
How could this be real?
The Blackwood family would never allow a she–wolf who had severed her mate bond to become their Luna.

Chapter 126 Aria, Re–Mar
Especially since I was pregnant with a pup whose father remained unknown.
The thought of this pup was like having ice–cold water poured over my head. It chilled me from head to toe, yet brought me back to reality.
Just then, my mobile phone rang, rescuing me from this situation.
It was my brother James calling. I looked up at Dominic, but before I could speak, he raised his chin.
“Answer the phone first,” he said.
I nodded and pressed accept.
“Hello, James…”
“Aria, where are you right now?” James’s voice sounded urgent.
“I’m still outside. What’s wrong?”
My brother hesitated for a moment.
“Come back first. I have something important to tell you.”
“What is it?” I frowned, curious why James couldn’t tell me over the phone.
“You’ll understand when you get back. Just come home quickly.”
I could only nod.
“I understand. I’ll be right back.”
After hanging up, I turned to look at Dominic, who was standing by the window.
Seeing I had finished my call, he smiled.
“Let’s go. I’ll drive you back to Moon Valley Residences.”
On the way back in Dominic’s luxury SUV, neither of us spoke.
After this emotional ‘window paper‘ had been torn between us, I felt strange awkwardness facing Dominic. My wolf whimpered softly within me.
We used to be simply fellow students. Now, everything had become complicated.
Soon, the car stopped in the underground parking garage.
“Don’t feel constrained by what happened today,” Dominic seemed to notice my discomfort. He smiled reassuringly. “How things were before, they can remain now.”
His powerful Alpha scent wrapped around me.
“I’ll pursue you, and you live your life normally. Don’t take it too much to heart. You’ll get used to it.”
I was speechless. How could I get used to this?
I forced an awkward smile, my face feeling stiff.
I took the elevator upstairs, quickly said ‘goodbye,‘ and hurried into my apartment.
The moment I closed the door, I leaned against it, pressing my hand to my racing chest. My face burned as if on fire.

“Aria, what’s wrong? Why is your face so red?”
Aunt Sophia emerged from her room, looking puzzled. She reached out to touch my forehead.
“Are you running a fever?”
“No,” I quickly stopped her hand. “I ran up the stairs and it was hot in the elevator. I just got sweaty”
Aunt Sophia looked skeptical.
Fearing more questions, I quickly changed the subject.
“Where’s James? Is he back?”
“He’s back, lying in your room!”
I frowned. Ever since I became an adult, my mother had been strict about James and me having separate
rooms. She had repeatedly forbidden James from entering my bedroom.
Hearing that James was lying on my bed made me uncomfortable.
However, I understood the situation. There were only three bedrooms in this apartment.
Since James was injured, he needed somewhere to rest.
I suppressed that discomfort and walked toward my bedroom.
When I saw James lying on my bed in dirty clothes, I felt my scalp tingle.
“James, why are you on my bed in those filthy clothes?”
My brother frowned defensively, looking down at his soiled clothing. Then he pouted.
“You’re complaining about that? I’ve been through hell today! How could I have energy to change clothes?”
He waved his hand dismissively.
“You can just wash the sheets later, right?”
I took a deep breath, controlling my annoyance.
“You said you had something important to tell me. What is it?”
James pursed his lips, then looked at me seriously.
“Aria, you need to re–mark with Alexander again.”
“What?” I couldn’t believe my ears. “James, what did you say?”
My brother frowned at my reaction.
“What’s the fuss? Didn’t you hear me? I said re–mark with Alexander again.”
I instinctively shook my

Had James been threatened by Alexander?
“Did Alexander threaten you?” I asked.
James waved his hand impatiently.

“No, nobody threatened me. I just think he’s a good Alpha, and you two make a good match.”
He paused, then delivered his strongest argument.
“Besides, you’re pregnant with his pup. Even for the sake of the pup, you should re–mark.”
“Pregnant with a pup?”
Aunt Sophia, standing nearby, looked at me in shock.
“Aria, you’re pregnant?”
