As Dominic’s fingers brushed against my nose, I felt a blush creep up my ears and Instinctively lowered my gaze. My wolf stirred restlessly within me at his intimate touch.
Alexander’s expression shifted dramatically. He immediately pulled out his mobile phone and dialed a
number with angry movements.
Although I couldn’t hear the person on the other end, the increasing gloom on Alexander’s face confirmed everything. Dominic hadn’t been lying. He really had saved my brother James.
“Dominic!” Alexander gritted his teeth, his Alpha pheromones spiking with rage.
“To resort to despicable tactics like k********g and threats, Alexander, you’ve really outdone yourself,”
Dominic replied calmly.
Those who knew him could recognize the underlying anger. His powerful Alpha présence radiated controlled
fury.
Alexander scoffed, his amber eyes flashing dangerously.
“Don’t pretend to be a gentleman in front of me. You’re capable of poaching a friend’s mate, so what right do you have to lecture me?”
“Poaching her?” Dominic casually scratched his ear, appearing unconcerned.
“At that time, Aria and I were just putting on an act. Couldn’t you tell? It was all to pressure you into severing
your mate bond with her quickly.”
I turned to stare at him in shock, my wolf whimpering in confusion. I never expected Dominic to reveal this so
bluntly.
“What?” Alexander was equally stunned. “You… you and Aria…”
But before Alexander could finish, Dominic abruptly interrupted.
“But it’s different now.”
Alexander’s body tensed. “What’s different?”
Dominic suddenly smiled, his eyes warming as they settled on me.
“Don’t you know what’s different?”
“What do you mean?” Alexander demanded.
Dominic simply curved his lips into a smile, saying nothing more. He took my hand and began walking away, leaving Alexander standing alone with a darkened face.
Dominic led me by the hand, but I noticed he wasn’t heading toward the school gate. Instead, we walked toward the teaching building/
When we reached the entrance, I glanced back–Alexander was no longer in sight.

Chapter 125 Dominic Con
Since Dominio had clarified that our previous Interactions were merely an act, there was no longer hand continue the charade. I attempted to pull my hand away,
Dominic seemed to sense my intention, turning back with his gaze fixed on our clasped hands,
“What is it?” he asked.
“Um…” I felt my palm growing sweaty. “Alexander is gone now. You can let go.”
Dominic chuckled softly. His thumb began caressing the back of my hand with deliberate gentleness.
His rough fingers created an electric current through my skin.
I looked up at him in surprise, meeting his intense eyes.
“From today onwards, I won’t let go,” he said with quiet determination.
I blinked, feeling bewildered. My heart pounded as my wolf stirred with unexpected anticipation.
“Dominic… Dominic…”
Dominic gazed at me intently, his free hand gently tracing my cheek. His powerful Alpha scent wrapped
around me protectively.
His eyes held a startling depth that was almost impossible to meet directly.
“Do you remember what I told you yesterday about taking you somewhere?”
I unconsciously swallowed, nodding. “I remember…”
Dominic smiled. “Come with me.”
I followed behind him in a daze, our hands still clasped together. Whether it was my palm or his, our joined hands were damp with sweat, sharing body heat and increasing warmth.
As we entered the corridor, I suddenly noticed something extraordinary.
The walls were completely covered with countless photographs!
“This is…” My jaw dropped in astonishment.
I instinctively turned to look at Dominic, my wolf’s enhanced senses picking up his nervous excitement beneath his calm exterior.
Dominic simply smiled, watching my reaction carefully. “See for yourself.”
I began examining the photos more closely. Every single one featured me!
There were pictures from our high school days, university graduation, even recent shots from my work at the herbal remedy cooperative.
I walked along slowly, utterly surprised by the scope of this collection. The photographs spanned years of my
life.
When I reached the final wall, I gasped audibly.
There, spelled out in flower petals, was a grand inscription: “Aria Summers, I’ve liked you for a very, very long
time!”
I gasped and covered my mouth. My heart raced as my wolf recognized the sincerity of his Alpha’s declaration.

I turned to look at Dominic.
He curved his lips into a gentle smile. “Of course, I still like you now.”
Such a direct confession! My eyes reddened slightly as overwhelming emotions crashed over me.
“Dominic…”
Dominic looked at me intently, his eyes holding mine with unwavering determination.
“Aria Summers, will you be my mate?”
My mind went completely blank. My wolf felt both excited and terrified by the prospect.
When I finally came to my senses, I instinctively tightened my fingers around his. With great effort, I found my
voice.
“Dominic, I…”
But before I could finish, Dominic interrupted me.
