You're Not My Mate novel Chapter 45

"May I change?" I ask, now having everyone confused. My mom only nodded. I turned to Logan, getting into a defensive stance snapping him out of his daze. He went to attack me but he only tackled up to the ground, I let out a gasp as the wind was knocked out of me. Then I smirked at Logan, seemingly reading my mind off what I was about to do he desperately tried to scramble off of me. I wrapped my arms around him, digging my nails into his back as I shifted. My hind legs moved so they where on my toned, drool worthy abbs. My front paws wrapped around him my claws drawing blood. I kicked with my hind legs making him flip over, using the momentum I changed our places for me to be on top.

I bared my teeth at him and growled loudly. I felt the rest of the shift that couldn't happen in my position on the floor happen quickly, within seconds im pinning Logan to the ground in my wolf form. My black fur shined and reflected the light that hit me. My red eyes swirled brightly. My claws slightly stained red from Logan's blood moved from his back to the front on his shoulders claws sinking back into his flesh slightly. My pure white teeth where in full view as I growled at Logan. Destiny was begging to be let out and to take control.

'Violet! Please! I want to come out! You are in my form! I don't control your form! This isn't fair!' she pleaded.

'In case you forgot yes, you did control my human form when you got all friendly with Victor.' I snapped back at her. She growled under her breath but let the topic go. I turned my attention to Logan again. His eyes held awe as he studied my wolf form, he bent his arm and placed his hand on the soft fur of my arm.

"She has matured and grown since last time I saw her form..." He mumbled. I stepped off if him and back a few steps. He slowly sat up and placed his hands over the deep, blood oozing scratches I had made. I slightly felt bad for them. His hands glowed for a minute making the sky light up in blue, when he pulled his hands away he was healed. His torn shirt now uselessly covering anything was discarded. You could clearly see the hundreds of scares littering his skin. I scan the crowd. All of them staring at me, it took me a couple seconds till I realized that no demon has ever seen me in my wolf form. This was completely knew to them. I heard the cracking if bones and I look over to Logan. He was in his wolf form as well, his shiny silver fur grew out as his eyes filled with bright blue. His wolf was slightly bigger than mine.

"You've grown." I say. Once again taking people by surprise by talking my I'm wolf form. Logan nods, unable to speak like me. I ran at him, he dodged but didn't take into account his tail. I bit down in his and he growled in pain. His paw swiping at me scratching my side. Immediately my wolf form healed, the high dosage of wolfsbane and liquid silver that was injected into me didn't take a big effect on me. I whipped around and caught his neck in my teeth, but he quickly got his paw on my throat. We both froze. If either of us moved to hurt the other, the both of us would move to for a killing strike. We we're in a position of killing. My father and mother teleported down next to us.

"No killing. This is a non-lethal fight." My dad said. He put a hand on my side as my mother did to Logan. We both growled in disapproval. We wanted to kill, we had made the deal after all. My jaw started to clamp down on his neck, in reaction his claws dug into my throat. Blood drops rolled along our fur and dripped onto the ground. Logan's silver fur tainted with blood my black fur didn't change noticeably with the blood. I felt a slight pang of guilt, sadness, and pain when my teeth sunk into his neck. I could tell by the slight retraction of his claws he felt it too. After a few minutes Logan completely retracted his paw setting it down on the ground. He started to shift to his human form. He had black ripped jeans, a blue Nike shirt, and black gym shoes on. His neck was still in my jaws as I bit down more to make contact with his throat once more. He put his hands up in surrender, then slowly lowers one to the ground and taps on it three times. Officially tapping out of the fight.

"Violet. Release him. He tapped out." My dad orders me. I snap my eyes to him. Sending him a growl and a glare I refused to let Logan out of my hold. I so badly wanted to kill him for what he had done to me but, I couldn't. I couldn't bring myself to kill him. I was so wrapped up with my dad and mom who were trying to get me to let go of Logan that none of us sensed a certain hellhound coming close to us. By the time we saw him he was against my side nudging me away from my parents.
