You're Not My Mate novel Chapter 42

"It's not worth it Violet. Don't waist your time and energy. You have fights tomorrow." Logan's whispered to me. I slightly relaxed but he only held me tighter. I scowled at this.

"Yeah, that doesn't work on me anymore." He chuckled. I used to trick him by relaxing after he pulled me away from something so he would let go of me. Alex growled.

"And now you're letting him hold you?! I don't fucking get this! Why aren't you struggling? Have you forgot what's he's done?!" He yelled. I clench my fist.

"I only gave them one fucking week of information! You have no idea what happen to me when I was there! You have no idea how he treated me during the other weeks! You don't know anything about me! All you know is that years ago I was the god-damned Omega of your damn pack, that I was a pushover and I did what ever I was told, and you hated me for it, you rejected me for it! Now you know me as the black wolf, and the beta to the strongest pack there is, now you want me back! It's not going to happen! Ever!" I screamed at him, by the end I have tears running down my cheeks and flames in my hands. Alex looked taken aback by it. Logan only tensed at the mention of our time together, and shoved him out of the room telling the guards to take him back to my guest house. But it was true, Logan only treated me bad towards the end. I'm not sure why he captured me in the fist place, but I kept over hearing him talk to someone about my strength. For weeks in the beginning, he trained me, made me stronger than what I already was. Logan didn't torture me till a few weeks before the boys came to get me. I was numb, dead inside. But not from the torture, it was from Logan's training. He taught me how to become a emotionless, bloodthirsty killing machine, I ended up liking the feeling of being in control of someone's life, I loved the look of fear and unfathomable pain on their faces. I was insane, I still am, and I absolutely love it.

~The last day of the games~

"Do you know what we are doing today?" He asked. I just rolled me eyes.

"What do you think we are doing? There are six people left and only three can come out alive. Connect the dots doofus." I told him, it took a few minutes before realization showed on his face, I face palmed at this, is he really that dumb? Before I got the chance to ask him about his intelligence the doors open and we all walk to our grid spots, honestly it just looks like we are scattered around. I feel eyes bore into me, out of the corner of my eye I see my dad, Simon, Alex, Dean, and Sean looking down to me. Only Dean and my dad aren't glaring at me. I roll my eyes. The camera come to scan us.
