Why the Crocodile Tears (by Flower Sock) novel Chapter 460

Chapter 460

What?Louie looked puzzled.

You really think I can’t tell you’re mocking me?Giselle’s expression darkened.

Louie drew in a breath before replying evenly, You’re the one who said that we have nothing to do with each other. We’re just strangers. So why would I mock you?

Giselle was momentarily silenced by her own words being thrown back at her. She kept a straight face and said nothing.

Louie glanced at her from the corner of his eye. After a beat, he offered a word of advice. Next time you pick a boyfriend, keep your eyes open. Don’t fall for scumbags again. Look at the kind of guy you ended up with.

Giselle froze. She parted her lips as if to say something, but Louie had already stood up and walked off with his hands in his pockets, leaving her staring at his retreating back.

She stared at him until he disappeared around the corner. When she looked away, a flicker of complex emotion passed through her gaze.

A moment later, she let out a long breath. Her tone was tinged with a bittersweet irony as she said, Even with my eyes wide open, I’d never find another fool like you.

The emotion vanished as quickly as it came. She stood and made her way back to the consultation room.

Inside, Wyatt had just barely escaped Milena’s beating and was trying to pull his pants back up when he spotted Giselle entering. His eyes lit up instantly. Gigi, let me explain-

Before he could get another word out, Giselle swung her bag with full force and smacked him square in the face.

Wyatt screamed at once.

We’re done.Leaving him clutching his face and howling in pain, she turned on her heel and walked out without looking back.

So much drama.Tyler clicked his tongue as he left the consultation room.

At the corner, he nearly bumped into Louie, who was leaning motionless against the wall. Whoa, man, what are you doing here? You’re so quiet. I thought I ran into a ghost

Louie didn’t respond. He had his head down as he stood completely still.

What’s wrong?Tyler stepped closer. Are you okay?

But the moment he got a good look at Louie’s face, he fell silent.

Because the top neurosurgeon of Castenea Central Hospital was standing there with tears streaming down his cheeks.

Wait, aare you crying?Tyler was visibly shaken.

I’m so done.Louie furiously wiped at his face with his sleeve.

But the more he wiped, the more the tears kept falling, like a broken string of pearls that couldn’t be stopped. Giselle, don’t let me see you ever again!

Seeing him like that, Tyler helplessly shook his head. Seriously? You can slice open skulls without flinching, and now you’re crying like a softie?

I’m not a softie!Louie snapped through his sobs. I’m the toughest one here!

Tyler watched as Louie’s tears kept falling, no matter how many times he wiped them away. He pressed into a

faint line.

This guy clearly had a very warped idea of what it meant to be tough.

And just like that, word of Louie bawling in the hallway like he had just been dumped spread through the hospital like wildfire.

When Anathea heard the news, she was surprised and amused.

Louie was well over six feet tall and also wore those metal framed glasses, making him look puttogether. On top of that, he had a mouth as sharp as a blade. Who would’ve guessed he was secretly a crybaby?
