Unwanted Wife novel Chapter 45

Monique POV

Monique quickly left her unit because she was going to Margaux, she couldn’t quite imagine that after all all she had done and as well as help her she would be able to betray her.

She quickly got in his car and drove to the house of her ex boyfriend's sister whom she considered as a sister and friend too, she couldn't accept the fact  that Margaux did it, the only anger she felt now was with the girl.

About 30 minutes had passed when she reached Margaux house, she quickly went out to her car and entered inside. She caught up with Margaux who was sitting frontally on their veranda while holding a bottle of wine.

She walked closer to her. "How dare you Marga," she exclaimed in front of the woman

"Hey Monique, you are here. W-wait, What are you saying?" 

Her hand quickly landed on the girl's cheek out of rage. "Don't pretend that you didn't do anything! I already know what you did, you told Cain about what I did! You betrayed me!" She shouted angrily

Margaux rubbed her cheek because of the slap given by the girl, but she didn't mind it because later on she smiled shockingly. "You know why? I did it for you, you said you can't tell it straight to him so I did you a favor and did it. I thought that you already know that this is exactly what would happen when he finds out, you should thank me because I told him earlier."

"You don't have the right! And because of what you did he is now angry at me. Are you happy now? Let me tell you Marga don't expect that I will help you!" she then turned around and walked away from her friend's house

She quickly got into his car, she couldn't help but be upset because of what had happened. She didn't think that Marga would ruin what she had now with Cain. She didn't know what to do now because she could see the anger in the young man's eyes.

Margaux POV

I could see the anger in Monique's eyes when she came here and I knew it would happen. Monique loves Cain so much so she knows that  she'll react like this but she doesn't care. She doesn't need the girl anymore so he doesn't care what happens to her.

'I told you Monique, you can't be happy.' - she thought of it and gulped down the glass with a wine

She walked and sat on the sofa. The girl felt happy because she thought everything was fixed in her plan, she quickly picked up her phone that was at the bottom of the table and called someone.

"Hello madam," the voice on the other line

"Is everything okay?"

"Yes madam, everything is settled now." the voice answered

The girl's smile widened even more because of great joy. "That's good to hear, just wait for the next time I call to make the plan." She remembered and dropped the call.

"You are really a kind hearted woman, I know in time I can forgive her but not now," He said and his wife immediately agreed.

She knew it wasn't easy for Thunder to find out even though she herself didn't know how she would react when Monique said everything, but she also couldn't forget that the woman helped her when they were still in Canada and another one he somehow considered Monique as her friend. And she understands that the woman only did that because of what happened to Daven and she sees how remorseful it is. One of the things she was worrying about now was her friend Cain because she had found out that he already knew everything so she knew that the young man was hurting now.

'I just hope they're both okay.' she said to herself

"What are you thinking? "Thunder suddenly asked

"I was just thinking of Cain. I know he's not okay now after knowing everything."

"We can't blame Cain. It's painful to know that the person he loves has done those things," he said.

The girl leaned on Thunder's shoulder. "Will they still get along?" She whispered

"Only the two of them can say that hon, it's not just a simple issue between them. Cain felt betrayed, but we don't know what will happen if they really love each other they will get along. They just need to restore the trust that was broken. Monique needs to work on it. You know, Cain when he is angry."

The girl nodded because of what her husband said, it is difficult to gain back the trust that has been broken. And they know that Cain is a great man but difficult to handle when he's angry. Cain hated most when someone is lying while he is being true to that person so they knew Monique would have a hard time with this.
