Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1581

With a hint of sarcasm, Katie turned to Daniel and flashed a bright smile. "Mr. Yorgson, please don't take Kaylee seriously. Ever since she got pregnant, she's been saying the strangest things."

Daniel nodded in understanding and pushed the business card forward once more. "Well then, let's reconnect later."

Katie accepted it with a smile. "Absolutely."

After exchanging nods, Daniel turned to leave. Seizing the moment, Helen approached the piano.

As soon as Daniel and his entourage stepped outside, the piano filled the air with a captivating melody. The smooth, enchanting notes wrapped around Daniel's legs like invisible hooks, causing him to freeze in place.

Helen intentionally added subtle imperfections to her performance, giving it an endearing charm. Those little quirks were just enough to catch Daniel's attention.

Katie spun around in disbelief, her jaw dropping as she watched "Kaylee" play with such ease.

Wasn't Kaylee tone-deaf? When had she learned to play like this? Had she really improved so much in just six months?

It wasn't just Katie—Abraham and Diana were equally astonished.

Diana mirrored Katie's shock at "Kaylee's" surprising talent. Meanwhile, Abraham sensed something deeper—a brilliance in Kaylee that he hadn't noticed before. Perhaps he had underestimated her all along.

Suddenly, it struck him that Kaylee had the blood of the Haywell family running through her veins. He realized he needed to think carefully about which daughter was truly worth his investment.

Even after decades of estrangement, they were still father and daughter—blood was thicker than water. A few sincere compliments might be all it took to bridge the gap and help them reconcile.

Seeing Helen in her element made Katie anxious. She stormed over and pulled her up from the piano bench. "What are you showing off for, you half-trained amateur?"

The music came to an abrupt halt.

"Are you asking to take me on as a student?" Helen replied with a smile.

"Of course not," Daniel replied cheerfully. "I'm sure I'm not qualified to be your mentor, but I'd love to be your friend.

"Over the next few years, renowned pianists from around the world will be visiting my home. Would you be interested in joining us to explore the art of piano together?"

Unlike Katie, Daniel was inviting Helen as a guest, not as a student.

"Why?" Katie burst out, finally snapping to attention, her voice charged with indignation. "You just invited me! How can you offer the same thing to her right away? Mr. Yorgson, is your invitation really that trivial?"

Katie was determined to force Daniel to choose between her and "Kaylee".

Daniel's enthusiasm faded, and his expression grew serious. With an impassive look, he turned to Katie and extended his hand. "Give it to me."
