Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1549

Seymour had just picked up a towel to hand it to Helen when a large figure rushed over and knocked him aside. By the time he realized what was happening, he saw Chandler gripping Helen's arms with a face full of concern.

"Are you hurt? Did you get scalded? Be careful!" Chandler fired off a series of questions while examining Helen from head to toe.

After that, the entire room fell silent. Everyone's attention was focused on the two of them.

Helen didn't expect Chandler to have such a big reaction in public, and she was momentarily stunned. A few seconds later, she quickly ran away from Chandler and hid beside Seymour.

Seymour instantly got the hint and boldly wrapped his arm around her, feigning intimacy. "Thank you for your concern, Mr. Newton. However, the soup my wife had was warm. It only stained her clothes, so there's no need to worry."

Helen purposely stood slightly off to the side, making it hard for Chandler to see her face clearly.

Chandler was instantly relieved as he belatedly retracted his hand and let it hang by his side. "Alright."

Katie was enraged. "Kaylee" was already married and pregnant, yet she still tried to attract Chandler's attention with such petty tricks. Katie would never let "Kaylee" ruin her relationship with Chandler.

Thinking of this, Katie quickly went over to hold Chandler's arm and leaned close to assert her claim. "Kaylee, you're pregnant now; you should rest early for the sake of your child.

"Dad and Mom will take care of the matter between Chandler and me. You two should go back to your room early."

Chandler regained his senses and glanced down at her coldly, rejecting her offer, "I have no appetite."

Katie's smile instantly vanished as she lowered her head and replied, "Okay…"

Chandler pondered for a moment before changing the subject. "Ms. Terzian, I have a rather presumptuous request, and I'm not sure if I should say it or not."

"Please tell me." Katie immediately adjusted her mood and faced him with a smile.

"Here's the thing: my villa is currently under repair, and I really like the designs of your house. I'm wondering if I can stay here for a night," Chandler asked seriously.
