Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1542

"You're here," Adrian greeted Ursula indifferently.

"No designer would miss the launch event of the most promising fashion brand in the country." Ursula raised her glass and toasted him from a distance. "Congratulations."

"Thank you." Adrian's long eyelashes drooped, hiding the complex emotions in his eyes. When he was about to ask how she had been lately, he suddenly saw a hand wearing a Cartier watch resting on her waist.

His eyes darkened, and when he looked up again, he saw Hobart wrapping his arm around Ursula. Even in this brightly lit venue, the scene was still unsightly.

He unconsciously clenched the hand in his pocket tightly, and he felt an inexplicable urge to tear them apart.

"Why did you come here by yourself first?" Hobart reproached gently and then casually turned to congratulate Adrian, "Congratulations, Mr. Newton. Many people have been asking me about you recently."

Adrian directly ignored his words and changed the topic. "You two?"

"Oh." Hobart instantly understood, lifting his hand on Ursula's waist and then naturally placing it on her smooth, fair shoulder. "As you can see, hard work pays off. Ursula agreed to give me a chance, and now I'm her interim boyfriend."

Ursula curled her lips awkwardly, her smile looking a bit forced.

Adrian's gentle expression instantly turned serious, struggling to remain polite. "Then I wish that you can turn official soon, Mr. Combes. I see a few friends over there, and I'm going to greet them. Please excuse me."

With that, he left quickly with a cold expression.

Not long after Adrian had left, Ursula pushed Hobart away and stepped aside, creating some distance.

At the entrance, Katie handed over the hard-earned invitation card and signed her name. Then she held up her dress and walked into the banquet hall carefully.

The stylish crowd passing by left her in awe. Everyone here had impeccable fashion sense and stunning looks. Naturally, handsome men and beautiful women were a common sight, and there were also many gentlemen and socialites with captivating charisma.

"Wow." Katie couldn't help exclaiming, "The gatherings of the fashion industry are really a dreamland for those who appreciate good-looking people."

Although she was indulging in the visual feast, she clearly remembered the purpose of her visit today. Adrian was Chandler's younger brother, and Chandler would definitely attend such an important event.

She had to think of a way to show Chandler her astonishing side. Just right when she shifted her gaze to the entrance, she saw Chandler entering hand in hand with the actress, who had recently risen to fame—Arabella.
